That Appo/Draft game was fun to watch. Im surprised Draft stayed as close as they did with the number of miscues they had. They never gave up. You're right, it seems no matter what the score is Appo finds a way to win. That speaks volumes for their players and coaches. All in all I'm glad the kids got to play football. Good luck to all the seniors in your future endeavors.

Josiah Jordan finished his career at Tazewell as the all time leading receiver in school history. Just think what he could have done if they actually threw him the ball......

I think they have released the All District and All Region Teams. I haven't seen any statistics yet myself.

Yep I noticed that. Unfortunately. Someone stated before the game that Union needed to stop that kid from going up the middle and something along the lines that its nothing real fancy. I thought to myself he's right its really nothing fancy. Well after watching him do it a few times today in what appeared to be untouched it turns out it is somewhat impressive to say the least. I was impressed with the QB last year and I'm equally impressed with that RB.

I really wish you hadn't brought all of that back up again. I was finally coming to grips with the season ending early and putting it all behind me but nooooo you go and bring it all back up😂

I kinda thought that's what this board was for. Before said game all of us experts what each team must do to win. Usually consisting of the obvious. Don't turn the ball over, limit penalties, block, tackle, etc. Post game the winning team normally talks about what this kid or that kid did so good while the losing team talks about the turnovers, jersey tackling, etc. At least thats been my experience on here. I mean let's be honest would this board be any fun without @EH31 betting Frosty's or @UVAObserver betting the farm, or @jarhead24219 just being jarhead? Gosh don't forget @cityofRavenwho has the best dry and sarcastic sense of humor period.

Watching some of their games this year I noticed their sportsmanship several times. Pretty impressive. Appomattox Football kinda reminds me of Grundy Wrestling. When you go to Grundy for the Aggie Skeens or a dual there's not a person there that doesn't treat you like family. By the time you get back to Oakwood you realize everyone on the team got pinned in the first or second round and you somehow have a smile on your face because of how nice they are.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they would have handed them the same good old fashioned ass whoopin Union received today😂 Hats off to Union on a great season. They improved as the season went on. Great coaching! Come on to the living room with the rest of us and watch the show next week. We have the 🍿 ready🤣
