First off, congratulations to both teams on great seasons. Super proud of Tazewell for not giving up and finishing the season strong. They have definitely shown some maturity this season especially given the injuries they battled through.

From what I heard this was a classic case of "Putting the cart before the horse". The town was going to build a stadium on the Leatherwood property. Long story short they didn't own the property nor was the owners willing to sell. I'm sure the powers that be that are involved in the inner workings of Bluefield Va politics may have a better explanation though.

If you go to the doctor/nurse practicioner/veterinarian and complain of a headache and tell them you play football I can guarantee you they are going to diagnose you with a concussion.

I honestly don't know. I have allowed myself to get entrenched in the drama of our local sheriffs race and haven't followed the Chafin/McCall race. Here we are 4 days till election and I'm on SWVA sports page trying to get the political breakdown of this race!!😂

On a side note. I'm pretty sure the National Anthem at the beginning of the game was somewhat of a mix up but I thought it turned out pretty cool both teams lined up for the kickoff. The fireworks at the beginning was pretty cool as well. I'm just glad Richlands didn't have the opportunity to set off the "Grand Finale" at the end of the game.

That was the 2nd hit of the game that Lester had that he was coming in hot on. Lol. If you watch the Richlands sideline they were making their case for the ejection while the officials had their discussion. I can't say that I wouldn't have been doing the same thing if I was in there shoes😂 Booker had his best game last night of the season period. He made some very good blocks and ran the ball really well.

I hate he got ejected. In my honest opinion Lester getting ejected hurt Richlands just as bad as it did Graham. May sound dumb but the Graham kids responded very well. They really got fired up and played like a team.

I said it a few weeks ago of I'm Turner after running and 80 yard TD. He might as well just head on back to the huddle. Keep in mind Blevins has come in with the 2nd string receivers. He has thrown some nice passes that have been dropped.

I agree. Whether you like Graham or not if you are a fan of good ole fashioned smack you right in the mouth football. Those two kids are the ones to watch. ****And the kid from Union

Great game G-Men!!!! That first half was a good one. I'm not sure why Webb didn't get the ball more. Graham's defense come together tonight was really attacking the ball. Good luck to the Blues the rest of the way. Glad to see both teams leave there tonight without any injuries.

I agree with that. @Ryan4VT made a comment about the Graham/Beaver game earlier, basically stating the game doesn't have the feel of a rivalry game. I'm sure many people will bash me for this but he's right. If there is one game on Graham's schedule I want them to win it's against Richlands. This has absolutely nothing to do with any of the posters on here from Richlands. I just hope Graham beats the brakes off yall tomorrow night. Lol

At the beginning of the season WVVA showcased all of the area teams. When they did Richlands the players mentioned Graham several times. It was obvious their whole focus was on Graham. Friday should be interesting........

I'm pretty sure this is a county thing. It's up to each county as to whether or not they test. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but in Tazewell county if you are on a debate team you are subject to random drug/nicotine testing.

I haven't heard anything about Kastner not playing.
