Haha…I don’t see that happening! Bears are rolling! I think some people just talk sometimes to hear their own voice & don’t really know much but think they do 😂😂😂. I have a buddy from Norton, he said there are a lot of people chattering about “this is the year!” I don’t think it’s our friends on this board but probably other locals. I don’t blame them for being excited. It would an awesome accomplishment for Union & Coach Turner. I’m just over here hoping the GMen make it by Pulaski next week and somehow Central pulls a miracle 😂😂😂.

Nothing to do with PowerPoints but I plugged in Radford against Union, Graham, & Central Woodstock. I wasn’t inclined to plug in anymore than that but each match up had Radford winning. It also had Central Woodstock beating Union & Graham by 2 points. I consider that a toss up! I think Radford is obviously the front runner for region C right now but we still basically have another month of football until the playoffs; a lot can change in a month for any team.

I think most coaches just get a one time stipend at the end of the season but work all year I guess weightlifting & conditioning. Although, I’m not sure all coaches (programs) really put in as much time as others during the off-season. I’m not sure they’re even required to do so. A lot of coaches aren’t even regular school employees. The contracts for coaching are separate than actual teaching contract which is normally 10 months.

Is that including the Monday-Thursday in the off season doing weight room conditioning? That’s another 7-8 per week.

I think most great or even really good coaches are only as good as their support staff. One man alone doesn't make a program great but one man with a couple outstanding assistants can build a solid program.

My take is Bluefield is better than their record and Grayson isn't quite as good as their record indicates. I think Bluefield pulls out the win against 2A Grayson...ummm I mean 1A.

I haven't rely heard an update this week with it being bye week plus me working a lot and not talking to anyone in the know. Hopefully, the week off helped him get closer to 100%. Maybe someone else has heard an update. Yes to everything you said about band! That kid played tuba with full pads on too! Imagine playing football plus learning a halftime show. Hats off to him and the head coach/band director for working together to allow him to do it!

I’m going to say in basketball Lebanon gives Graham all they want but in football Graham wins. The biggest question mark for Graham is injuries. Hughes is out for the season and most likely Lloyd although I’ve not heard that for sure. Clements still didn’t seem near 100% against Marion. Hopefully, bye week helped! I think Graham’s weakest link right now is the O-Line. Defense trending up for sure. Other than a couple of big plays, defense was pretty much on point against Marion. Omari Hill racked up the tackles. Isabelle had a good game on defense too. Nothing to do with this game but shoutout to Marion’s #3 playing with marching band during halftime. I like seeing kids who have diversified talents!

Definitely, between the announcers & the horns it was atrocious 😂😂😂

I‘m okay with cow bells but all the artificial noise makers especially the air horns should be automatic ejection from the stadium 😂😂😂 Those things could cause permanent hearing loss.

They got a little lucky! A win is a win obviously but 2 points is mighty close for comfort.
