Do you think high school will adopt the NFL rules as far as hitting the QB?(The Clay Matthews tackles/Body weight rule) I personally think if that rule and those type flags are here to stay then high school is when they need to implement it. 

I don't understand why you don't even put Bluefield in your top 10, let alone number 1.  But I hadn't called you out on it because you're entitled to your own opinion.  But now I will, since you deem to call me out for being a Burton hater.
So, where in the hell even is St. Charles, Va. anyway?  Sounds almost as remote as Rowe, Drill and Putnam are.

I agree 100%. In my personal opinion that was a game featuring two of the top teams in the area and it was tight when the 1's were in there. Probably more beneficial than most benefit games as far as facing good competition. 

I went to the Ridgeview/Chilhowie game. I think it was tied when the starters came out. 17 all I think? Possibly Chilhowie up by 3? I don't recall exactly? Chilhowie will prob go 9-1 this season. Ridgeview should be fine as the season goes along but they could use more of a passing game other than screen passes. Ridgeview was in control at the start but Chilhowie became more efficient as the game went on. I personally think it was a good game considering both teams should be good this year and this was a benefit game. I'm sure each will improve as the season progresses. I just hope the injury to Adkins is minor and that the #25 from Chilhowie is ok. 

Good scrimmage tied at 17 at the half subbing a mix of 1s and 2s in the 3rd and straght 2s and 3s the 4th Chilhowie up 3 after a 42 yard fg that hit the upright and bounced in and Ridgeview missed a 38 yarder wide left
Chs has a tough rb and speed at qb nether team looks great passing and will need that addressed if they want to take there game to the next level

This games was very beneficial for both teams. Its rare two of top teams in the area get to test each other out before things really get started. The score doesn't reflect how tight the game really was.

2nd strings for both teams starting with 3 or 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Chilhowie was up 20-17. Chilhowie started off a little sluggish but after a couple of series they started picking it up. Great game from both teams. I know there is a lot of attention on Adkins but Ridgeview's #22 is a heck of a running back. 

People from Marion should choose to go to Chilhowie, so they'd have a better shot at a state championship.  :D

Is Bluefield's line legit? By the looks of their height/weight that was posted here they should be dominant.

After seeing some pics y'all posted I like most all of them. I'd have to say I like the Thomas Walker lid pretty well. Blue and White/Gray is always gonna look good to me tho. Lighting does make it look tan but you know it's gray. VHS new ones are cool too. 
I have to agree with the GC folks as far as the gray britches. I just don't think they look right. I'm not from GC but to me they just need white pants with their blue jerseys at home. That's my personal preference anyway. I like the opposite for road games tho. Dark britches and white jerseys. Not a fan of all white. All white would be ok for me in a special "white out" game with the whole crowd in white too or something.

Graham. But my all time favorite is the 1972 Bluefield Helmet.  It had a football with "We Believe" on the right side and a capital B with a Beaver standing through the B on the left side.

If I wanted the kind of abuse that referees take, such as yelled at, spit on, criticized on everything,  and even have my ancestry questioned, I would just have my mother-in-law move in.

I don't follow WV high school sports so I didn't feel the need to vote on them.  I'd imagine all the polls that doesn't include them are in the same boat as me.  The only thing I know about them is what is written on this board.  I couldn't name another high school in the whole state other than Bluefield.
