Agreed, Glass does have a better QB and more overall team speed than anyone Graham has seen this regular season. Held our own on LOS and in the backend. If GMen have a breakdown, it better be for a TD. 

Well, Graham stormdoor kicked EC Glass in a scrimmage. I know, just a scrimmage and teams try different things, but even in a scrimmage, from tackle to tackle, you can get a good idea, and Graham manhandled them. 

I honestly think it’ll be a dog fight.  Looking forward to it, nothing beats high school football in swva 

As a Bluefield transplant now in the Roanoke/Central Virginia area, I’ve have been able to watch a good many teams this year all the way up to 6A.  I will say this I have not seen a team this year that could match what Graham has across the line, especially on defense. I’ve watched Salem, Fleming, and most all the other Roanoke area schools with the exception of Glenvar and I think Graham handles them all with ease with the exception of Liberty Christian.     Graham would even bruise their 2 closest 6A schools. An LCA matchup would be interesting.  That bunch is just weird good.  They don’t look like much at a glance but are surgical.   Graham’s athleticism, strength, and speed of pursuit from their bigs is pretty rare, especially at the 2A level.  I have never seen Ridgview and can’t comment on how they match up.   All I know is from the ball I’ve watched this fall, there are very few that have a program moving from the headsets to the handoffs like Graham has. 

I wouldn’t say they imploded. They couldn’t handle Graham’s line on both sides of the ball. That will decide this game as well. Graham is returning 4/5ths of their line. The question will be is Ridgeview improved enough to give O’Quinn enough time to get the pass off and can they stop Graham from gashing them on the ground. If they have it will be a game. If not it will be a different year but same result.

I wonder if the G-Men faithful will show up? Was very disappointed and seeing such a low turn out today. Even being down 30 points Gate City’s fan base was still making more noise. I know Mitchell Stadium can make a crowd look small but I don’t think Graham had enough people to fill up a single section today. With nasty weather Saturday it’ll probably sound like a funeral again. The 12th man wins games people! Stop being lazy and sitting at home to watch it online!

Myself I don’t really see a problem with that because you get your starters out of the game and you get running clock. I think it was pretty good idea to do that. Just my own opinion though.

In my opinion, Radford is going to have to show a willingness to run the football at some point. Appomattox may very well have the athletes in the defensive backfield to limit Radford's passing attack and force them to commit to a ground game. The question will be, is Crist willing to set aside his ego to win the game or will he continue to pound his head against a cinderblock wall. Thus far in his coaching career, Crist hasn't been willing to change or adjust and Coach Smith is a master of finding other coaches tendencies and weaknesses and exploiting them to his benefit.

And if they don’t make that cut just add your players names to the final all district list anyway and post to  Facebook like it’s real. Or at least thats what a team I usually support with the initials l.h.s. did last year ha.
And the only “explanation” I heard was “that’s the team without Abingdons players.” Whaaaa? Abingdons part of m7. Don’t work like that no matter how bad ya want it to. 

Very true , you know how opinions go. Zay Bradshaw never won POY on offense or defense last year. No doubt best player on the field every time he put the helmet on. Neither did Brody Meadows, the only Power 5 players in last year's class. 

I agree with Jones, I would go Taylor as second running back after Clements. DL, LB's are all Graham. I know Tazewell fans will disagree but kids that perform in high leverage games and situations get the nod.

Exactly. I’ve come to learn that it’s not always who deserves it. It should be the best players and something earned but I see this with every sport. I’m not saying some don’t deserve it but I always find myself shaking my head and questioning some. 

I agree. Hughes and Gage have did a phenomenal job. Hill, Dolan and Roberts, just amazing defensive players 

Sawyers#4 and Hughes #3 from Graham are the best outside LB in the region .Some would say they are DE but they also cover in space. Considering they beat every team in district by 28 plus, Palmer should just say who he thinks should be first team, 

Roberts, Dolin, & Hill are all first team material to me. I don’t know how it all ends up shaking out but one of Graham’s strength this year has been at LOS on both sides of the ball. We have others who do inconsistently well but those three are pretty dang consistent most every game. I think the GMen are focused on game prep right now instead of  All District & All Region accolades. 

Nearly every team Graham played left their first string in and scored late....

I'm going to go Graham big. I would be very very surprised if it's under 24 points. I love Gate City. I absolutely love the Devils history and program and probably like them second best only to Giles of course out of any other program. Any team that runs it and runs the ball well historically is one a Giles fan will often like, BUT I just dont see it for This game for This season regarding being close with Graham. The Devils are one year away from being back....as in back back....very deep playoff run potential. If I'm wrong, I will post it quickly and say so. Just my opinion.

If Omari Hill is not first team D, they shouldn't even have an all district team. Seriously, Tazewell scored one touchdown,  Richlands 0,, Va High 2 Td's , Marion O on the starting defense for the Gmen.
