I can about guarantee that those actions you speak of have nothing to do with what’s been said on here.   Tiller and edwards did not get fired but They were ran off to put it lightly. As a player or coach if I see comments that im overrated im going to use that as fuel to prove people wrong.  

Ridgeview is overrated.  All that talent and no coaching.  The one who should be leading them is in Honaker now.  The Pack are getting what they deserve for running off Tiller.  Wouldn't be shocked at all to see them one and done.

You said it. As unimpressive as an 8-0 team can be.

Didn’t upset me guy.  Just educating you on some of your options in case you weren’t aware. You  locked on this thread, scrolled down …read the comments and provided us with a nugget of wisdom.  If you don’t like the thread content you don’t have to read it.  Don’t burden yourself.  Surely you don’t expect everyone to just stop now that you’ve voiced your displeasure.  It’s obvious you’re not aware of all the chaos the RV kids have had to endure the last several years…..due to adults and coaches and local politics that still persist.   So, when you’re being a smart ass and asking why don’t those posting just coach the team it doesn’t help.

Or, even better, complain about them complaining. Imagine that guy.  We had to listen to Union fans rail about Turner ( which most on the board felt was not fully deserved) so you can handle RV fans complaining (which the consensus of those who actually follow RV say is totally earned).

I agree with you!  Sad thing is all we can hope for is for things to change. 

But Little Stanley has cute hair and 5 years experience as a middle school coach. That has to account for something 

I don’t get it. This team should have smoked every opponent they’ve had.  They may lose the next 2 games if these coaches can’t understand the short passing game. 

When my wife is making better play calls from the couch something is wrong 

If he would coach those boys to go after the ball like he went after that dropped hair tie we would be in business 

I don’t see us making the deep run everyone is talking about.  We have the players.  

I watched most of this one on the phone.  Arguably, the worse display of offensive utilization I have seen for one game for this entire year.  I take it back.  Not arguably.....it was.  I don't want to be offensive to you RV fans.  I thought some of you were just wining some about the offense and it was typical fans doing the usual critique of the offense.  I apologize to you.  After watching.....I agree with you.  I simply can't NOT believe that in the year 2022, when a team has pro sets and 3 or 4 split wide every set, and there is LOTS of 1 on 1 coverage (Abingdon surprised me here, they actually played a fair bit of 1 on 1 coverage), that not one screen is thrown, or more hitches, tunnels, or bubbles.  You walk away from that game and you ask yourself, "how is that possible?"  What thought process is going through the offensive staffs brains to actually make it to halftime, and you hope just someone....one person on staff, just one has the thought occur to the brain that states, "you know, we haven't throw a screen in this game."  Evidently, that thought just continues to not occur.  It's mind boggling.
Credit the RV staff for adjusting in the 2nd/3rd qtr with some of the shallow crossing patterns, but still I don't see any quick hitches to the athletes.  Literally, snap ball, QB takes one step drop, and release the football to the sidelines.  That just doesn't seem to happen at RV, and if does, I've missed it.  RV has all the athletes needed at the skilled positions to make that successful.  We saw that with the shallow crosses which take much longer to develop, but when the WR catches the ball, the first defender nearly always misses.  Just my opinion, but I agree with you on the offensive play selection.  

The defense has played well all year. LBs are active and make tackles. There are a couple of solid lineman that can make plays. 5 is physical, will make tackles in run support, and is good in coverage. 7 and 11 are both solid in coverage. I think they have outshined the O all year 

Play calls and personnel usage is questionable at best.

May have been the best all around game i have seen Cannon Hill play.  I thought after the first half of flags that it was a hard nose good game.  For Union to be playing i think 3 freshman they held there own.  

Absolutely not a doubt in my mind he could.   I could spin a wheel and do better than son stanley.  

Well, if you're going to hang out here you need to understand a few things:
Union folk are never happy.
Giles is experiencing a civil war.
Tazewell somehow has become overrated.
Graham is Graham
Ridgeview will only go as far as their Dline will take them.
We can't figure out Gate City
Lee is on the upswing.
Eastside is on the downswing.
We're not sure about Burton.
The whole damn board dislikes Central.
We have our own internal drama, so you may not go directly to the front of the line.

Staff doesn't fully understand spacing and how to best utilize their toys.  They actually make it easy, by formation, to align coverage.  You absolutely need to utilize motion and shifts to confuse the defense.  Don’t utilize Beavers in the slot or inside which limits his route options.  Hill is built for short and intermediate routes but can go get it deep.  Counts should win every single coverage situation he is in.   Against Lee, they lined up all three on the same side in a bunch and left #4 WR in single coverage.  Why?  Switch the #4 WR with Counts or Beavers and get that single coverage, or, better yet....motion someone out of the bunch and across the formation.  

Not a fan of some the play designs.  They don't understand levels of routes and run routes too close together....spacing issues.  If the opposing DC is observant, they will pick up on trends quickly.  No motion unless it is a predictable jet sweep....no shifts...misdirection.  No creativity in play design.  And they have to stop living off of jump balls to their WRs....too talented of a team to do that.  The coaching staff has to match the talent of their players.....not even close right now.

I doubt it.  It’s homecoming so there will probably be too many distractions for a complete game.  Also I don’t expect a complete game from them until they get a complete game from the coaching staff.
