Mountain Man I don't know what it is but for some crazy reason I enjoy having you on the board. It takes all kinds of personalities to make this thing work and be as successful as this board has been for a long time.
 
Its just us coal miners and hard working people here outside of Camelot can only afford to have wine & cheese on special occasions. I will take Dr  Pepper  and bologna & cheese any day of the week.

GC never plays well at Lee for whatever reason. I think it'll be close for awhile, but I look for us to pull away late.

I have nothing but respect for the folks of Richlands. I did some work up that way for 7 years and made many friends. I believe the series record is 23-21-1 GC. That's s pretty dang good rivalry in my book.

I think Richlands has a much better team than they're getting credit for. Their defense is very tough and they still have the weapons to score from anywhere on the field. They'll be ready to go come Friday night.

I've driven from Kingsport, TN to Norfolk, Richmond, Harrisonburg, and several trips to Lynchburg supporting Gate City over the years. I have no sympathy for them.

I think most were judging GC by the GW scrimmage. Our 2nd and 3rd string played the majority of that one.

We beat a fine football team tonight. There's a rumor that this was the last of the series. If it is, it's a shame we had those officials. Worst I've seen in my 42 years.

I'm sorry, but I don't see this years GC team losing by 21 to Richlands. People say they're small, but they'll flat hit people in the mouth. They played toe to toe with Belfry, yet comments were made that they were the worst team there. I love the fact they're being taken lightly. I look for a close game either way. I love our chances.

I was referring to our own "fans"..lol. If we don't beat someone 56-0, all of a sudden we suck.
