Got word from his mom this morning. Broken rib. Lots of precautions were taken. He wanted to keep playing but when he left I was hoping it was just a bad stinger. Really wasn’t expecting a rib injury at all.

Oh he’s been tough as a pine knot from the start. Solid cover CB as a FR.

Thankfully it ended up being nothing severe. A lot of precaution was taken and rightfully so. Hoping 11 can return before the season is over.

TS has ran the veer very well so far also. I wondered how Dingus would adapt to it going into his SR year but it’s been clean from what I have seen on film.

Hurley was 5-4 last year in the regular season. Did finish .500 after losing to PH in the playoffs.

Their seating for visitors is better than Burtons that Union fans may be familiar with. Parking will be a bigger issue than places to watch the game. Nice little atmosphere in Valley Creek for football games. Just sit back and enjoy Jack Troutman calling the game on the PA.

That was a model year for anyone to hold their kid back. I wish I had made the decision to hold my current senior back had I known things would continue like they had.

Rye Coves JV and Middle School are in good shape also. Don’t believe either have lost to this point but I may be mistaken.
