I have friends that are from Lee County. I have heard that (those unhappy people) are the problem in Lee County.
-
I am thinking that the schools do not get the revenue for those games. Pretty sure that the VHSL gets the cash.
-
F me. I think Junkyard should be quarantined for not having enough wins.
Just kidding. Thanks for putting this on as usual Ryan.
-
Well.. we've somehow made it to the end of the regular season. Picks lock at 7pm Thursday night. Good luck!

GW lost 7-0 to Galax, Galax not very good either? He has been in the box for the last 4 weeks.
-
It would be a three way tie for the top spot in the district. I guess someone has to be left out.

Sorry that I don't have the time to sit in my law office and look all of the statistics up. I would be curious to see the federal guidelines of No Child Left Behind / Federal Money with the need for schools to water down material and grading in relation to getting graduation rates up. Just a thought. My point is made below, unlike like my grandfather who walked five miles to school, in the snow, with no shoes.
I guess I was referring to hard work, discipline, and teamwork. You know since this is a football board and these things usually apply to student/athletes. Obviously you did all of those things for yourself because you had the work ethic to go to college and pass the bar. Good grief smoking a cig was done by most of the faculty in school "back in the day." I would dare say that school and personal accountability was more prevalent then than it is now.
-
The things that were instilled in us by our parents, coaches, teachers, etc. are going away in the blink of an eye. It is been coming and many didn't notice or they didn't want to admit it.
-
I didn't realize that you were involved in this "conversation." However, since you want to be involved, let's now give you the floor to hear your expert opinion. Listen, I don't have much time here, the scotch is calling my name at Glenrochie.
-
Thanks. I know that was presumptive of you, but you are correct.
-
I decided to get on and check it out...I forgot how much I have missed all of these expert opinions.

I will have to agree with you on this point for sure...we are so far behind in so many aspects.
-
Great facilities + growing area + great pay = I would stay put.
-
I know that Tennesseans pay a higher sales tax....I prefer my money stay at home and in my community. The point is they (TN) charge tuition and Virginia is giving them a free pass. If I wanted to take care of everyone else, I would vote for Bernie.
-
I just have one question. Where does the state money come from? Virginia tax payer dollars? So in essence, when I pay my state taxes, my locality is missing out by those funds going to a county to support out of state kids? Yes I know that some of the funding comes from the federal government as well. Gee, it is win, win situation for all of those people who live in TN and pay no state income tax, while Virginians have their taxes increased to cover the cost. It looks like from what I have read, it is about keeping Scott County from consolidating.
-
You are right...but people have to say things that have nothing to do with the original intent of the post.
