Hell, i wished they played each and every year. It is a great matchup between 2 great programs. I don't know why it doesn't happen. That last game in Bluefield (the bad calls against r-lands by those great refs) must have left a real bad feeling with the Richlands coaches. Getting shafted doesn't sit well with anyone. Especially football coaches.

Bluefield Rules = Knows everything about Bluefield and the scheduling of teams they play. Heck, maybe you could make the game happen since you seem to know everything else.

Folks, I've watched a lot of good football teams in my life... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take my word for it...this year's Richlands team is one of the best I've ever seen. A better team than Graham in 2001? Yes. A better team than either of the two Gretna teams that one back-to-back State Championships? Yes. Barring any key injuries and/or a flat out choke (as they did last year much like the 2001 Graham team), they roll through the Division 3 playoffs to a State Championship. These guys are GOOD.

What about the combination of scoring 500 and only giving up 50 in 10 games?? (Like Richlands did) I'm doubting that has occured very much, if ever.

Carroll doesn't stand a very good chance against Martinsville. Way too much speed for Carroll to handle. They didn't bring much of a crowd to the Richlands game. Not sure how they travel elsewhere. I'd say Martinsville - 28 Carroll - 13

Richlands won't play Bluefield because of the severe "home cookin'" they received at Bluefiled a few years back. Bluefield had to win the game to make the playoffs. And the hometown refs made sure that happened. While it would be nice to play i don't blame Richlands one bit for not wanting to play a team that has refs who would cheat for them since they can't get it done on the field. "nuff said.

And there impressive performance in the loss to JJ Kelly last week.

Carroll has no chance whatsoever tomorrow night. (unless they bring there own refs from hillsville) If they score it will be against the 2nd team or jv players in the 4th qtr. It's hard to hype up a game (although they are 6-2) against a carroll team that lost to Abingdon and had a nail bitter with both Marion and Grundy. Will not be close. Richlands - 47 Carroll - 7

Exactly how many games does it take to "play to your full potential?" I mean you've played 7 already. Will it take 8? 10? or what? Early prediction for you. You guys will maximize that potential with a lopsided loss this fri. followed by a loss to graham topped off with a nice 1st round loss in the playoffs.
