Found out today.  250 spectators allowed.  Most tickets will be taken up by band, cheerleaders and 2 tickets per athlete.  Not sure how others will be sold .
After February possibly 30 percent is the word floating around.
 

I am a Hooters wings man myself especially if I'm out on the bike riding down in the Tri-Cities area.  I always stop by and get some wings and curly fries and a cold beverage.  I like my wings hot,  but not 3 mile island hot ! Got those once and between my eyes watering and snot running out my nose I couldn't enjoy them as much as I would have liked !  But I do like my wings more hot than mild.

George Wythe shares Region C with Galax, which means that George Wythe will not advance out of Region C.  I would be shocked if the VHSL 1A Championship Game were anything other than Galax/Riverheads, not because of how down 1A is, but because those two programs are on a different plane than anyone else in 1A right now.  That includes George Wythe.

Yes that’s what I’m saying. I would put money on it that if you got to a Marion PH or GW games at 6:45 you would have time to grab a hot dog and get to your seat before kick off not the case at Chilhowie. Chilhowie also graduated 18 seniors and still rolling. But now that I think about it you are right they arnt the next Richlands Graham or Union because they don’t need tazewell or J.I. Burtons best players to be dominant

I wouldn't completely write things off. Marion hasn't looked great in the preseason, but they also haven't run much of anything that I would expect them to run during regular season. They lost very little on-field talent from a team that didn't win a lot of games last year, but was very competitive in five out of their six losses. I do expect Chilhowie to win, but I feel like both teams strengths play into the other teams weaknesses, and there's potential for this be a really good game.

Many a coach have ruined high school programs because they are totally inept at motivating kids to come out and play.  (Some are inept at managing a team and other coaches - I wouldn't be able to handle it either).   I always heard good things about Hart, so not saying this is the case with Bland.  However, I know of other coaches who are total pricks to the kids and are more concerned about being in charge than reaching out to kids and trying to motivate them and show that they actually care about them as an individual and want them to succeed.  I know- have known too many coaches like that.  The best programs create a family atmosphere where the kids and coaches support each other and can also have fun.  If a kid doesn't enjoy playing, there are a million other things for them to do.  I agree that some kids will play regardless of the coach, but a whole heck of a lot of them don't want to have some middle aged man screaming and criticizing them.  A kid can tell if you really care or not in a heartbeat and they will give a lot more effort to a coach who's heart is in it too.  In Bland's case, I think it's a numbers game, very small school, little leagues aren't producing players.  It's got to be tough and was just a matter of time.
