Their NG is worth the price of admission to watch. He is 5'4" and 135 pounds, he also plays blocking back for Humphrey. The Seymore kid can play on saturdays at the linebacker position.

I agree with most of what you have said Big O except that I think the QB is "good" but the WR corp is quite possibly the best and deepest group i have seen in SW Virginia in quite some time. The Tremendous O line losses will hurt, but if they can fill those big shoes the Falcons could be dominant.

I have been going to the East practices. Michaels and Wright have looked very good at QB. Wagner and the kid from Honaker have looked good in the backfield. The O line looks very good and very athletic. The Thomas kid can be used anywhere. Defensively, the linebackers are impressive. The Simcox kid is an awesome placekicker. Overall I'm really impressed by this team they are truly all stars. I too am looking forward to the game.

Zach has been a blessing to the Rebels.  I wanted him to come to PH for a long time.  Glad to have him.  I think the Rebels are finally playing good defense and that makes me happy.  Their OLine is strong and will play hard.  Excited to see them play this week.  Go Rebels.

I can see how it would seem odd. The QB did not play that game and PH fumbled 7 times. All recovered by TW. They lost by 6.

Holston absolutely won last year, please re- read my post, but he and his team could have scored 60 on you this year. Please refrain from disrespecting a kid that works very hard at his job and has helped his team be successful.

He may not be great but he has thrown for well over 1000 yds the last 2 years and definitely lit you guys up. PHs JV would have probably beaten you all. I know Abingdons JV would have. Mark Palmer is a very good person, he called off the dogs early. You really shouldn't disrespect kids that way. I understand that you are a sad man but the Cavs will be back.....one day.

With all due respect, you sir are incorrect.  You may attempt to pettifog the argument by using "Clinton speak" (i.e: define is) when defining Freedom of Speech if you so desire. But the incontrovertible fact remains that the Freedom of Speech is an inalienable right of all U.S. citizens.  It cannot be infringed upon by either private or public entity.  To do so is a violation of one of the main tenets of our constitution.
 
You are confusing the right of the board administrators to limit access to a private enterprise as inhibiting free speech.  It is not.  Access or membership in private entities is not a right.  Country clubs, fraternities, sororities, message boards, Sam's Club, etc. all have the ability to limit access.  I reiterate that they do not have the right to inhibit free speech.  They do have the ability to establish membership criteria and the penalties for violating that criteria.  It is up to the individual seeking membership to decide if they want to follow those guidelines.

Guys... hope that didn't come across as arrogant.   The kids on Battle's team are far from arrogant...that goes for the fan base also.
Just tired of seeing this guy pop up on every Battle thread opened on 2 or 3 sports boards.  
 
Also, the last thing I want to do is put down the VHS program especially the kids that are busting their butts trying to get better this year.  I Wish them nothing but the best.

Lots of folks seem to be piling on Richlands over this loss...I guess because they rarely get the chance.  But, the bottom line is this: When you field a program of that caliber, fans of other teams take joy in any setback that happens to ya whether it's in the field or off.  Same thing happened during PV's glory days.  You get everybody's best shot every Friday and when a team does beat ya, they act like they've won the State Title...and then you get to listen to it from fans of every team but yours tell ya about it all week.  Fact is tho, there are VERY VERY few teams in SWVA capable of beating Richlands..so have your fun while ya can guys, cuz it'll prolly be a while before the chance comes around again.

There is no question that if Bowels had the right kids in the right spots and utilized them, we would be at least a 7 or 8 win team. Best team for the worst staff in SwVa.

He is a good back, no doubt. but he had 400 yards sideline to sideline. He broke one long run on Battle(possibly some subs in) and the rest of the time had 60 yards on 19 carries. I want to see the Falcons have a good season, i just don't know if it can happen with Bowels at the helm. The Qb situation has to be addressed and the kid that plays safety should be utilized more on offense.
