I don't know a thing about Monticello, but I can read...looks like they can score some points, but they gave up some too.

Their side of the state doesn't cross up with ours, very hard to deduct anything except they are very good in their side of the state. Have a great running back and must have a very good o-line.

Only cross up can find in any of their teams played is

Their coach has been a position coach at several colleges, Wake Forest, Tulane,,, actually coached Shaun King.

i think i the blues continue playing as they have the last three weeks they will win. fwiw monty's schedule's win/ loss record is 67wins 68 loss's richlands 84 wins 64 losses. 2 play off teams in montys reg season schedule.5 playoff teams in richlands reg schedule including wva AA state champs and va A hopeful playing next week also(good luck devils).this is all useless info but it is intresting

It was said in the Bluefield/James Monroe matchup and it can be said in this matchup. You cannot underestimate the experience of playing in a state championship game. Whether you want to believe it or not having experience in such a game is an advantage, especially when two teams are pretty evenly matched. You shouldn't underestimate the heart of a champion either. Richlands isn't a lock to win on Saturday and neither is Monty. If the game is close in the 4th that plays to the advantage of a state championship experienced Richlands team.

Id love to go but that gas thing is a killer. Especially after driving to wheeling last weekend. I still may go, always wanted to see a VA state champ., and would love to see R-lands in one, and would love for them to win.

 

will the radio broadcast for the game be on the bluetornadofootball.com website?

Those numbers look eerily similar to the ones that King George put up in '95 and a Graham team with two losses walked away with the title on that day. Don't put much stock in the stats when a state title is on the line...Richlands has a very big thing going for them...they played in this game last year...Should be a good one. Richlands will have to be physical...it's a different brand of football that they play...finesse vs. Physical should be interesting.

monticello has one loss by one point in overtime to a very good DIV.4 courtland team.make no mistake monticello is for real.and will put some points on Richlands.question is,hows Richlands gonna respond if they get behind by a couple TDs?we will find out how good they are then.
