If you listened to Ron brown and you think he's lopsided, you are crazy. The other crew is indeed lopsided. But Ron is not.

trublue 939 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Started to go to the following game but wanted to listen to the Richlands game. :) (Grayson is a Gwinnett County team. Nkemdice and Gallman both committed to Clemson) Gwinnett Daily Post@GDPfootball Grayson 21, Miami Central 3 (Half) Nkemdiche scores 2nd TD, Gallman has 49 TD from McTier Grayson ranked #1 nationally by ESPN...Miami Central ranked #1 nationally by USA Today. Gwinnett Daily Post@GDPfootball Grayson 35, Miami Central 3 (FINAL) 11 D1 commits for both teams in this game A little side story: Grayson's QB, McTier, was a backup QB for Greater ATL Christian last year. The starting GAC QB was just a Jr.,so, David decided to return to Grayson (was at GAC for 2 yrs. )and compete for the QB job there since Grayson's QB from last year graduated. He won the job...and I'm thrilled for him..he's in a great situation. BTW, this game was/is on tape delay b/c of the TN/NC ST. game on ESPNU and is suppose to air around 11 p.m. tonight. sportsfan 21 Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 Did not see this game but details from Roanoke.com source: http://www.roanoke.com/timesland/schoolschedule.aspx?syid=9&sid=1&school=125348&team=71 FLOYD -- Dorian Harris had 21 carries for 122 yards and two touchdowns, and Mary Bary completed eight of 15 passes for 146 yards and two more scores, as the Buffaoles (1-1) took advantage of six Galax turnovers -- four interceptions and two recovered fumbles -- to hold off the Maroon Tide (1-1). Floyd County led 20-0 at the half, but Galax, led by Donte Peoples' 196 rushing yards and two scores, closed the deficit to 20-14 early in the fourth quarter. However, a 51-yard pass from Bary to Cole Worrell gave the Buffaloes some cusion, and then Harris topped off the night by returning an interception 53 yards for another TD. Galax rushed for 304 yards, but had just 2 passing yards.

Floyd is usually very solid, last couple of years have been an oddity in Floyd. You don't reach the state title game 3 times in the past 13 years for nothing...
