I call a spade a spade my friend. Believe me, I have the upmost respect for Coach Palmer and what he has done with our program since he has taken over. We have gone from a team that was getting scheduled for everyone's homecoming, to a team that is a threat every year. But it doesn't take Lee Corso to tell us that this team is undisciplined. That doesn't mean these young men are causing trouble or are not good upstanding young adults. It means their emotions get the best of them on the field. Great players and teams learn to channel that emotion and use it productively instead of negatively.

I know from friends I have that are Graham supporters, they love the coach and he relates to them well.  That in itself can be the problem.  Just like with parenting, you have to draw the line at being to much friend and have rules and discipline that isn't always popular.

They've got the talent to be great but the coaches need to reign those boys in big time. Unsportsmanlike conduct like Cam Allen's last week is ridiculous! Actions like that need to be sat down on sidelines Cam Allen or whomever. Just my humble opinion, others might disagree.

Players for not being mature enough and the Coaches for not correcting the issues. Cam Allen's touchdown last week is a perfect example. Showboating and talking trash on the way to scoring a touchdown (against a team that has not won a game), only to be taken away. Graham has always had false start and offsides problems, but the unsportsmanlike penalties are uncalled for.  Mark my words, Richlands will destroy Graham this year and not because Richlands has more talent, but due to the fact they have better coaching and are disciplined.

Giles has same situation a couple weeks ago...absolutely ridiculous

I do agree that Graham will win this game, but I have seen Princeton play this year and this game could be way closer than what everyone is expecting. Princeton plays schools much bigger than most teams in our area. One thing I will say about Princeton is that they tackle very well and hit extremely hard. Realistically Graham should win 40 something to 20 something, but if Graham comes out flat or continues to play undisciplined, the Tigers might win this game. I am thinking a final score of 34-24 G-Men.

55 yard Td pass. Bad snap leads to a two point conversion. 28-13 G-men with 4:38 left 

End of the first half here in Pearisburg. Tied 7-7 and graham is lucky to be tied. The only thing down about Giles this year is their numbers, still a dang good football team

Lots of missed tackles, not sticking to assignments! Undisciplined and lack of attention to detail, very frustrating! Richlands will beat  us easily if we can't do any better on defense. Caught a lucky break on interception right before half.

Had the Union band opened a can of whoop ____ on the Richlands football team. Who would have come out on top???

Graham should win this game, but if they go into Bulldog Stadium thinking that it's going to be a cake walk, the G-Men will be heading back to Bluefield with a loss in week 2. I have seem both teams play and I see this being closer than what some people may think. I can see the score being close at halftime, and the youth of Tazewell will be the down fall in the second half. Graham 34 Tazewell 21

Hopefully I will be able to attend this game from where it is being played Thursday night. I believe that the hype around Tazewell this year is very real. I look for Tazewell to win this game in front of what should be a packed house. I see Tazewell forcing a turnover or stopping V High on the last drive to win the game. Good luck Dawgs!

Well it is the week of the big game. Everyone knows how loaded Bluefield is and everyone knows Graham has the athletes, but the line play on both sides is subpar at best. Can Graham pull the upset? Or will Bluefield get win number one, in what should be another special season for the Beavers. My heart says Graham wins a close one 20-17 but my head says Bluefield 42-21.
