Really dumb flex, but I’m quickly learning that the average intelligence on this site has fallen off a cliff in the last few years.

    Virginia's last winning season : 2019

    Virginia's last bowl win: 2018

  2. Prime example of bad play calling.  RV has the ball with about 3:30 to go in the game; Abingdon has 2 timeouts left.  Run on first down for no gain, timeout Abingdon (1 remaining).  Incomplete pass on 2nd down, clock stops.  Incomplete pass on 3rd down, clock stops.  RV's final drive lasted about 15 seconds and they only made Abingdon use one timeout that set up the potential game-tying drive.  Play calling like this is what gets you beat against good teams.  Unless something changes, they will lose to Bluefield and Gate City and will probably be eliminated in the 2nd round.

I've never been to RV field. Just watching a little bit on NFHS, is the sun ad bad as it looks on the home side? It may just be that camera on nfhs but it seems like it is cutting the retina out of yours eyes for the part of the game. That stadium does look really nice though.

Yes, it is horrible.  That and being so far away from the field are my two biggest complaints about the stadium.

After reading thru the posts, this is my take. It seems most, over half, think this will be a close game. Those willing to actually pick a winner seem to be on the RV side. Some of the Union faithful aren't so faithful anymore.

I expect Union to come out with a bunch of new wrinkles. I expect the Pack to come out fired up and confident. And I expect this to be every bit as good of a game as the Graham vs Union game was. It has heavyweight match written all over it. Almost like an Ali vs Frazier of the M7 fight.

I think Union pulls the upset on the Ridge.....extra points will decide the fate of the game.

Just because Union fans aren't picking them to win doesn't mean they aren't faithful fans.

It's beginning to look like the winner of this game will not be the team with the BEST game plan, but the team that doesn't have the WORST game plan. Sorry for the double negatives, but that's the best way I could think to put it.

I agree.  IMO, RV will try to prove that they can throw the ball deep and Union will try to play keep away.  I also don't expect Beavers to be able to field a kickoff or punt.

I don't understand why everything gets viewed from the M7/SWD slant, I think Clemens is the best RB in 2D and Creasy would be an upgrade at QB for every M7 team sans RV (and sneaky maybe, possibly Lee. Surrounded by a mediocre at best team, the kid down there can sling it). I've seen both kids play, I think O'Quinn is slightly ahead bc of his raw arm strength and physicality, and that's not an outrageous take.

How dare you give your opinion that somebody else in the M7 is even close to being as good as Creasy.  You will be threatened and barked at!!!

Mighty presumptive of you to believe that I care in the slightest what you, or anyone on this message board whom I don't know personally, think.

Besides, you were the one that made your little comment specifically referencing me by name.  If you rattle the big dog's cage, don't complain and whine when the big dog snaps at you.

Not whining, just stating a fact.  Also, self-proclaiming yourself as the big dog says a lot about you.

Yep...I missed him...very bottom of the camera.....#11.  Wide open....now how would he have been blamed for the interception?

11 might have been open underneath but you could tell by his body language off the ball, as well as the other receivers, that the ball was going deep no matter what.
