Congratulation on an amazing season. The tide has turned down there. You guys played with tremendous heart and played all the way to the end. Let me be the first to congratulate you guys on an amazing season.

As I said: seems like "innocent until proven guilty" only works when it's convenient for our sensibilities.

Good points, though I have just two small quibbles. One, it doesn't even take remotely close to $1M to book a Tier-A star for 1 gig. You might scratch low 6-figures if you go after someone like Brad Paisley, etc., and that doesn't include the charity aspect that might drive the cost down even lower. Two, Mitchell Stadium could be marketed as a reasonable outdoor major venue. But, of course, we're talking about Bluefield, WV, and we know how proactive that city's government is.

My favorite example of this happened in the 2001 Graham-Richlands game. Graham was up 14-0 late in the 4th, around 90 seconds to go, 2nd down and 7 or so. Bradshaw takes the simplest dive you'll ever see and breaks through the porous defense for a TD. The final ended up being 21-0.
 
I know there are some Richlands fans still butthurt over Graham scoring that TD. The amount of whining over that call was hilarious. You'd think Graham would've just went up 105-0 and did a crotch chop to celebrate it.

This is kind of like watching a car wreck...you know it's going to end bad, but yet I still keep watching.

Actually if you'll go back to the beginning of this thread it was the VHS posters who got their panties in a wad over a Marion poster picking Richlands.  Then it escalated.    I don't have a dog in the fight between Marion and VHS posters, but let's get the facts straight.  You VHS guys seem a little thin-skinned.
