Yes, the only two 2A teams on Virginia’s schedule with a winning record…like I said.  It’s a matchup of the 2 teams in Region D that gamed the VHSL Power Points system harder than any other, which I find humorous.  
 
I can’t even post something complimentary of your boys without you coming in to take a cheap shot.  Just like with your compadre, it’s flattering, but also really weird that you show up everywhere I post.

Don't know why you have to be such an a$$ about it.  Last I checked we are entitled our opinions and that is why we come here to express them.  Even with my hatred of certain select teams, I still would not comment something like that.  You must be one of the Hokie fans that I am always hearing about from opposition teams that give them the poor image that they have.

And I hope that you develop selective amnesia that causes you to forget this site exists, but neither of us are getting what we want.

Some people will just never change 

Region B is pretty stout this season from top to bottom.  The records of their teams don't jump off the page at you, but the one team that would give me pause for concern is Strasburg.  They've played a gauntlet of a regular season schedule, and aside from a Week 1 forfeit, they've swept it.  That includes a 38-0 blanking of a 7-3 Clarke County team (whose only other losses are to the other two 8-2 teams in the Region).  They remind me a lot of this year's Graham team: not the most offensively gifted team you'll ever see, but a defense that will grind you into your composite atoms.  If those 2 teams match up in Salem, first to 20 wins it.

Quite honestly, I don’t get it.  If my primary allegiance was to a 7-0 team, I wouldn’t give nary a care about a .500 team that my team defeated by 30 in Week 2 of the season.  It’s almost as if fear is the primary motivator, but surely that’s not it…

The reason it gets foggy on the Ridge is because Cransnest River is straight down the mountain from The School that goes into John Flanagan Dam,I use to live on the Ridge.

May it pour rain and fog so thick you can cut with a knife be the prediction 😁

But that doesn’t support the argument of a blowout at all!  

Ridgeview does have more experience on the lines, and that’s the one concern I have as a biased fan coming into the game.  Tazewell has some talent, but some of it is young or undersized.  Ridgeview should probably watch the film from Graham to see what they need to do in pressuring Creasy; once Graham started pinning its ears back and gaining confidence, Creasy essentially had no time to allow plays to develop.  That will be the key for Ridgeview, as you say.  

I disagree.  Radford's QB has something like 35 TD's with no interceptions.  He has blazing speed.  Jones is good, but not close to Radford's QB.

It’s causing some hesitation on setting Tazewell @ Ridgeview.

Tazewell should have all LBs back so that should help the middle for depth and support the back four. If the line play on both sides do their jobs then it will be a tough game. Being able to move personnel in the middle 3 or 4 to play LB/DE is an advantage versus having the same kids locked in that position, my bleacher Coach opinion. Go Dogs.

The narrative that Tazewell doesn’t have the “back end defense” to cover Ridgeview doesn’t have a basis in reality.  Tazewell has held 2 teams on its schedule to 0 passing completions and held one to 1 completion for negative yards.  Brody “Jesus Zeus Buddha Zoroaster” Jones went 15/36 for barely 100 yards and 2 INTs against Tazewell’s flimsy “back end defense”.  
 
The only games where opponents have had success passing against Tazewell were Bluefield (who did likewise to Ridgeview) and Richlands (which was caused by a schematic breakdown where Tazewell’s DEs constantly failed to keep contain, leaving 2-on-1 matchups on the perimeter).  
 
I mean, we can have discussion on what should be a very interesting 1st round game.  But simply parroting a falsehood repeatedly doesn’t make it true.

I hope Tazewell shows up big & sends Ridgeview into basketball season. It all depends on their frame of mind but I’d like the see all SWD teams advance. I’d also add Jones to the list of top QBs in SWVA.
