EH31 got a reaction from V-Cats in Tazewell @ George Wythe
As an AD how do you schedule 4 in a row at home or away? That's awful

Williams has to score as much as he can to make his PF/PA look better.....

EH31 got a reaction from Deleted Account in Richlands at Graham
that's exactly what I noticed. It's pitiful for a team to just give up like graham did tonight but what's even worse is a coaching staff that will allow it to happen. -

Some musings from my point of view.
1. We started so slow tonight. Once we started opening the play book a little, we could move the ball. Still need to grow as a team. But tonight's win was much needed for their psyche.
2. Graham's punter is abysmal. 3 or 4 10-15 yard punts absolutely killed any bit of fild position game that could have been.
3. Graham just flat gave up starting in the mid-3rd quarter. And the coaches just didn't seem to care at all. I know the team is down after a bad start, but that, to me, is just unacceptable.
4. Last, but not nearly least, my player of the game is Cory Alcie. That kid shut down his half of the field and made some TD saving tackles. He had several hard hard hits on punt returns. And on the muffed punt he didn't give up on the play after being blocked on the opposite side of the field and still recovered that ball. Atta boy. So proud of him.

Not sure how Graham's coaches can stay so calm at such a piss poor effort?

Graham is averaging giving up about the same amount of points we did at Pocahontas when we went 0-10 in 2005. It's demoralizing to be scored on that much.

I had a perfect view on that 4th down. Ball was overthrown, and that call was some manure...

Richlands always has a ton of td's called back... it's easier to see holding when you run out of shotgun.

Nelly is FAR from hardcore rap. Most of his songs are radio worthy. I expect you'll hear a lot from "Sweat & Suit" and the more recents. Probably not a lot from Country Grammar or Nellyville.
I've seen Colt Ford and FGL in concert and it's not the "honkytonk" people around here are expecting. Colt Ford "raps" a large majority of his songs, and FGL has fast paced verses that some would consider rap in some of their songs. They also covered Bruno Mars, Mystikal, Nelly, Juvenile, Snoop Dogg, etc. in their act I seen.
Again, I've seen Colt Ford in person. Trust me when I say Second Chance did everyone a favor by replacing him. At that concert FGL put on a great show, but they are very uptempo. They stay moving around the whole time and make it fun. They drink Fireball during the entire show and like I mentioned before, they cover some verses of rap songs. I really don't think blending Nelly in will be as weird as it may seem right now.
Even if you're not a hip-hop fan I would still venture to say that 80% or more of the people there will know at least some words to Nelly's songs. There is no way that would be the case for Colt Ford. Good job Second Chance.

The people that are complaining about Nelly instead of Colt Ford are the ones that I wouldn't want to be there anyway.. We should all be happy that someone as accomplished as Nelly would even consider coming to Bluefield.
I welcome the diversity. It might weed out some of the ruckus that accompanies all those cowboy boots and beers.
