What I like about this game...ALL the pressure is on Gate City.  The favorite, playing at home, and their fans don't just want a win, they expect a win because they are supposed to win.  Those boys may end up playing tight and if Graham hangs around long enough, it could get interesting...

I've known TJ for quite a while, and the one thing that stands out is that he is a true scholar/athlete.
 
I wish him only the best in Hooville.  No matter what happens with football, he will get a world class education.

I set behind a Richlands fan during the game.  He said before the start that he thought the team had been walking around with their chests puffed out all week.(His words.)
 
I expect they got a bit of humble, and the next game will be interesting.

Credit Graham's defense, they played very well.

Gone from Blacksburg schedule is Carroll,Abingdon, and Bassett. Adding Richlands, Amherst , and Lord Bot. to Giles, Hidden Valley, Salem, Cave Springs, Pulaski , Patrick Henry ( Roa ) and Christiansburg.

No chance of a forfeit.  TCPS wants Graham to get the gate from this on just like Richlands did for the first one.  Money talks.

Not really a "Championship Game" since Marion has ZERO chance of winning the SEC...just sayin'...

Don't let the slogans fool you.  We are not affected equally by coal's down turn.  The companies are diversifying and moving into other areas (fracking for gas.) and will leave us in the lurch.

If it was just chest bumping and jawing that's not bad but im sure he was warned to stop it by the refs after the 1st one.
 
Haysi had a linemen get ejected from a game in 2014 against Covington, the kid sat out against Galax(potentially his last HS game) and im pretty sure he wasn't allowed on the sideline(not 100% sure though). He committed the offense and put himself above the team.
 
Its a tough call and really does change from situation to situation.

I watched both the WV AA and AAA games on the Pittsburgh sports station...too bad VA can't do it, too...

Texas state championships haven't been the same since Tim Riggins quit playing.
