I hope Riverheads gets beat. I hope Central gets up on them early by 3 scores and then they look like lost little puppies that have no clue wat to do. This might be an unpopular preference but i really dont like teams that dont take advantage of the complete game of football. Playing scared to throw the ball 15-20 times a game. Heck even 10 times. I also dont like teams that would be on the other end of the spectrum but u dont ever see that.Â

I suggest go back to the East/west split with a 12 team bracket on each side. That would give 4 byes but should cut the bottom hangers on off. Crossover the semis to give the best possible chance of the two best teams meeting up in the finals.Â

As for people scamming to get a better seeding, the power point system is flawed so there needs to be more separation of points for classification and a SOS component as well. You shouldnât be able to eat cupcakes all season and get rewarded with a prime seed in the playoffs. Itâs sensible to consider the team you won against opponents not just the win total.Â

Regardless of the number of teams that get in, imo they should at least have to have a minimum 5-5 record or else the region could reduce the number of teams to those with eligible recordsâŚkinda like being bowl eligible in college football. Give byes to the top teams starting with the top seed for every spot without an eligible team.
Agree....if you can't finish at least .500 you don't deserve a reward of a playoff berth
I think the results of the Region D playoffs top to bottom showed that. Everyone talks up this team or that team as having a chance at an upset and then 1-4 advances. IMO 4 is the right number, but I could live with 6 to satisfy the give em a trophy crowd.

Losing 9 starters is tough but at the same time those younger guys and jv guys coming up and such seem to be more athletic. I believe they finish better than 3-7 next season.
