    There is nobody like #11.
I can live 100 more years and I know I would never meet someone with a will to win like him.

Every kid should strive to be the warrior that TJ was.

I am happy for the Dawgs.  Surprising, but awesome game.  Gives them momentum for next week against the Bears.  I am thinking of TJ, #11.  How appropriate this playoff game in a decisive win, being played on 11-11.
Happy day...Dawgs win, Hokies win, Clemson wins and seal it with a win by the Georgia Bulldogs tonight.
    GO DAWGS!!!!
  3. Thanks

UVAO is high octane for sure with his announcing.  Each play he's adjudicating a summation to the jury.    He is certain in what he sees, presents the evidence with passion and doesn't let public opinion sway him.
His analyst, is an even keel guy,  knowledgeable, knowing the game inside and out, as well as each player.  He's not looking at a roster to identify the players involved in the play.  He is the oil to Observer's vinegar,  which doesn't mix when together, but in this case, it does.

My final posting for the night.  Watched Giles/Grayson tonight,  Lord willing, RR/Honaker tomorrow night, and Lord willing the Ridgeview/Tazewell game Saturday afternoon.
Always, cheering for the Dawgs to win  EXCEPT when playing the Blues.  I hope the Dawgs are healthy as well as Creasy.  He's the bus that makes the wheels go round and round.  Don't think it will be an easy out, but I feel the Dawgs, if healthy, have the skill set to walk away with the win.

I watched the Giles/Grayson game.  First time seeing both teams this year and thought Grayson would have a more dominant game with their record.  Giles had their opportunities, but couldn't capitalize.   Grayson's strength appears to be the running game.  They aren't locked and loaded with their passing game, that I saw.  Seeing one game doesn't tell the story though.
Coach Williams didn't come away with the win, but the Spartans had a respectable showing tonight.

It has been a season of watching those who we expected to win, and those who we hoped would win.  I have a half full glass today, happy for the Loris Lions as they play their first playoff game tonight against the Beaufort Eagles, and a sadness seeing my big Blue Tornado probably go 0-10 tonight.   I heard a Christian artist say this last night and it was regarding a song she had written years ago.  She was telling the background as to why she had written this song.  In its lyric  she said she had been through the "burning dessert, but looking ahead saw clear blue water and had come to far to turn back now."  She said if we surrender, who do we surrender to and what do we surrender?  As she spoke this I naturally thought about my Christian walk;  this morning, in contemplation as well, how it can relate to the Blues and their program.  We should never let a season, define our legacy, or detain/cease our walk.  The trees lose their leaves in the fall, so we see what appears to be a lifeless tree, but it is only a dormant stage.  When spring appears, the tree begins to blossom with life again.   This is my hope and prayer for the Blues football program.  There are deep roots and good soil, hopefully these roots will be inundated with the water of hope, and be cultivated by those who don't deny the setback of the program, but wait for spring and new life.
    Amen!!!

41-0 is the final from Loris and to cap it off, Loris has a backup kicker who is Spanish Speaking and a Female, and she nailed the final extra point for Loris.
Google Loris Lions Radio and you can hear Greg Mance in the post-game probably 2-3 minutes from the time this post is posted.

    Loris 20, Manning 0, Late 2nd quarter.
Both teams are 3A . Manning came in at 7-1 with only loss to Dillon and Loris came into tonight with 2 losses. Manning is ranked 9th and 10th in 3A SC depending on what poll you go by.

Just over half way into the 1st qtr, Loris scores again and leads 13-0.
In the recnt Loris drive, Loris had a 4th down at the Manning 26 and Manning jumped offsides to give Loris the first down at the Manning 21, then Loris went into the endzone 2 plays later.
