We typically only play the starters with game experience 5 or 6 plays before they sit and allow the twos and threes to take 90% of the snaps. (Theory is that we know what returning starters can do and playing backups helps learn more about what they can do) We lost a D1 lineman and a starting LB for the season in a scrimmage last year so I won't be surprised if several of our starters don't play at all. As far as the "Private Messages" go...thats exactly what they are for...don't air it out here...keep it "Private"...really this has just been blown out of context at this point...and there is no reason for it to have been. Let that stuff go and move on at this point, not really even worth talking about it anymore...I'd hate to close off the topic but if that's what we have to do then so be it. I have to say that every transfer and his family that I have talked to and we are friends with pretty much all through that time period thought it was a great choice. The players and their families and fans have taken them in just the same as the boys born and raised here. That includes 2-Tazewell, 2-Graham, 3-Bigcreek and maybe a Grundy and Twin Valley transfer. Most players transfer because of political reasons or to maybe get a better chance of making it to the next level. The coaches really go out of their way to help the players get better and send tape out to colleges. I think that playing at Richlands bumps a player up at least 2 points on the scale of 1-10 maybe every year they spend in the program may bump them up 1 point. Just my take on it. I know Razor very well. This was not a threat. That is not in his character at all. You'd be hard pressed to find another person who is as passionate about this team and this town than Razor is. The rope is there for my 2A staff, if the rankings are disastrously inaccurate and they've hung themselves, then I'll have to make a more concentrated effort to find better resources. I don't keep track of the amount of people that I talk to and I'm not interested in doing the research in order to "win" an internet argument. I've previously noted that SWVA is a blind spot for me as compared to the other areas of the state and I have taken steps and am in the process of correcting that issue. My wife is not going to be happy until I take her. Seriously...... would you go back? It has been boring on here until this thread. A little bit of everything here I enjoyed the Bahamas, but I'm not sure that I would go back. There's some extreme poverty in that area, and you can very easily end up in awful neighborhoods by going just a block or two off the grid. And it was an inhuman level of hot and humid. There's a fair bit to do if you are the excursion type. The fishing is nice. The snorkeling is exceptional, and every bit as good as the commercials make it look. There are some nice secluded beaches. I would pay the money to stay at Atlantis. It's a true world-class resort. You could spend days in the casino alone, and there are many other attractions.
