First Round (BOYS) Will take place Monday at Higher seed

1) GC Bye

2) Union vs 7) Lee Monday 

3) Abingdon vs 6) Battle monday

4) Central vs 5) Ridgeview

Second Round (Boys) will take place Wednesday and both games with be at GC

1) GC vs 4/5 Winner

2/7 vs 3/6 winners

On Wednesday at Gate City Middle, It will be #2 Union taking on #3 Abingdon at 6:00pm. Then #1 Gate City taking on #4 Central at 7:30pm.

Union beats Abingdon tonight 63-48 to advance to M7 final.

GC beat Wise, so it’s Union/GC for M7 tourney. Teams are 1-1 coming into it.

The GC announcers said that they weren't allowed to do the GC-Central girls game because the Central admins saying there was no room for them. That's pretty pathetic. The GC announcers were very complimentary about the hospitality when they come to BSG though:)

Abingdon player got hurt during the game and Wise doesn't have a trainer available and no EMT's on site.   If that's not a prerequisite for hosting tournaments it should be.   Nobody even offered to help getting her off the court.  TJ just stood there with his hands in his pockets.   Pathetic.

Abingdon has 3 coaches, what did they do, stand there too? 

Why would you expect your opponent to help your player off the court? 

I swear people look for anything to knock Wise.

I can't stand them either, but they didn't win all them banners by being nice. 

Maybe if some other girls and their coaches got mean around here they would beat Wise.

Pretty strange considering the gyms are exact replicas of one another...

But in hindsight, Dobyns-Bennett's radio crews weren't allowed to broadcast in Gate City's gym either a couple years ago.  Not sure of the reasoning behind that though.
