Congrats to Honaker on the win...it could have gone either way. The pioneers will get you next year.  I still think the Pioneers will surprise some teams as will the Tigers.

It was a heck of a game to watch. Both teams had runners in position to score multiple times but either the pitchers worked out of the jams or the defenses made some spectacular plays to get out of the innings. Just like the Galax pitcher snagging that low line drive back at him that would have been a base hit. 

Well played game by Honaker and Galax.  The throw to the plate was an absolute thing of beauty.  Tip of the cap to the center fielder and catcher. 
At least the players decided the game this time rather than dumb decisions by staff and administration!

Thank you all for the condolences. Our kids and community have been through a lot over the last several months. 
About the game it should be the pack by as much as they want. I just hope my Tigers play with heart just because that's how Ben always played the game!

A lot of backlash around Honaker today. I personally feel that he should have retired at the end of last season after breaking the all time win record and being inducted into the VHSL HOF, instead of being asked to step down by the administration!

One thing's for sure.... like last year, I am sure the Lancaster fans are not too happy about having to drive pretty much from the Maryland line to more or less the Tennessee line.  Kentucky line last year.  Lol.  I love it.

No I only watch the local stuff, I'm going to watch the 1A games at Virginia high.  I like to watch the Anderson kid from honaker.  someone has nicknamed him "manderson"  he's exciting to watch play.

After watching all 4 teams left, IMO there is no clear favorite. I feel like any one of the 4 can beat the others on any given night.
 
Any one else got an opinion on the teams left in the west?

Honaker played the best game that I have seen them play. They are a classic Jekyll and Hyde team. Play really good today play like crap tomorrow.

This is for the Richlands guys. Why would you not want to play Graham with their best players on the court? It will tell you how you really stand! Not make you feel good about yourselves and then boom you meet them again in the playoffs and they end your season early because you were over confident and didn't know how good they really were.
