The last two years at Haysi people would go down before big games and drop kids off at the Elementary School early A.M. and go tape a blanket to the seats. I would show up an hour before kickoff, the stands would be empty and I had nowhere to set. Then these people would come walking in, barely making kickoff. I started going to my seat and tearing off the taped down blanket where I sat if there was no one there and folding it up. Pretty sure a few people got hot but nobody ever said anything. 

Just remember if you win, prepare for the inevitable revenge by the refs next year in Ky.

Good for them.  They have suffered and deserve to see their work pay off.

The refs most definitely lost control.  It didn't get too far out of hand and that's a testament to the quality of the kids.
The Tide offense was most definitely the Peoples show. Others players had chances and couldn't capitalize. A TE Seam on 4th down comes to mind. Not enough diversity offensively.
Peoples had 341 yards and Haysi controlled the Galax offense. Spectacular game plan.  The Tigers worked him on Defense too. Ran 4 wide all game and forced him to chase WRs that never got the football, it helped wear him down. By the 4th quarter he was a shell of himself

Not all the fans are like that, but a large portion of the Wise fanbase doesn't get along with anyone. GC, Ridgeview, etc..

If union finds a passing game....Wow!

30 exactly now, that's after the Brady Webb knee injury that is more than likely season ending. 

Better ? Is why do you still have your star player in a game that was already over.

He had a bad ankle injury last season that he tried to fight through.  Even when he came back, he was never 100%.  But he was still tough to handle.  They just overused him.

#7 for RV is a good kid. I'm sure Unions 23 is too. I didn't see Unions 23 flip anybody off but In the handshake line instead of saying good game heard him say F ya'll to several of our players. Some RV fans were on the refs pretty hard, I didn't think they did a great job with a couple of things but it got to be too much. Unions D is tough. We're not great or anything but we absolutely couldn't move the ball against them. Don't think Mitchell is the answer at QB although he played it pretty good.

You mean the3rd string QB who has been starting ever since? I think the loss of Hill has been over stated just because he would have been misused like everyone else. 

Ridgeview team 1 was very talented; injuries, HORRIFIC playcalling and 1st year jitters held them back. 
 
I will never forget watching them get smoked by Paintsville and Giles.  They just weren't anywhere close to that level but they were a solid team

Not sure if Ridgeview has been around long enough to answer that question, but for Haysi it had to be JI Burton.  They never got along and the last couple of years of Haysi existence, it got very heated.

But if anyone would complain about it, it's Central lol.

Ridgeview defense really stepped up last night and limited central qb to an extent I did not think possible.....on offense they took what central gave them with several players stepping up with big plays and the freshman rb has a chance to be a special player over the next 4 years.........rv needs to take this win build off it and get ready for union next Friday
 
Central is a solid team and they need to use this loss as a tool to work on mixing up there play calling there qb is a solid passer and a great runner but if you only run 5 plays you are really helping out the defense 

Union won't shut us out I don't think... but they won't have any problems with us either.
Still couldn't be happier that we're going into this game undefeated.  Never would have believed it had you told me before the season started.

Lets not forget the parking and the field of dirt, not grass come late season.  Oh and also the extra pushes or late hits to players of color that refs never seem to see.  I will say I have personally not had a "bad" experience yet...
I do have to agree with the 1950's style horns and his voice it was a pleasure when the sound system went out the last few times on the visitor side.  All announcers should be for their home team but there is a limit to it and Grundy goes well beyond.  Seriously how long does it take to say golden wave?  Not the 10 seconds he stretches it out to be lol

Have you ever been to Grundy? Horrible visitor side, PA right in your face and turned up to 11, bad angles, bad lighting. Makes Richlands visitor side seem like Mitchell. ?
