That's definitely not his son. Doesn't matter if it is or not. No place for a coach to put his hands on a player.

SpillBoss reacted to SwvaOG in Christmas
Yes, Sir. As I age, Christmas means a lot more to me as I become more of a servant for others (my family particularly). It really is a shame that we can't bottle that spirit, good will and intent and apply to the rest of the year.
Merry Christmas and blessings of a healthy and happy New Year for all the board......even those from Central. 😂

Want to wish everyone who participates on this board a very wonderful and blessed Christmas. Hope everyone has a happy New Year and enjoys time with your family and friends. May God Bless us One and All and next year be a brighter and exciting year for each team we support.

SpillBoss reacted to Real Sasquatch in Long way to go, But Football season is never over- Who are the three best teams and three best rebuilding teams?
Hinkle will be a big target too. I think they should use him more next season, tall receiver, good hands. Also, Chase Noel, if he plays. RB will be the question mark. Mullins may be able to take that role, he is a durable athlete.

I agree with you Gridiron. I favor Tazewell without O'Quinn. If O'Quinn plays, I think its 50-50. Calpreps has it 35-24 in favor of Tazewell.

The Wolfpack travels to Tazewell this year! I’m giving the nod to Tazewell if O’Quinn is still out and Creasy is playing. Even if O’Quinn is playing, I still think Tazewell can win. I know one thing, Bulldog nation will pack out that stadium for the Dawgs! Home field is definitely an advantage for them! After the embarrassing loss last year to Ridgeview, I think that works in Bulldog’s favor. They’ll want sweet redemption!

SpillBoss reacted to Real Sasquatch in game updates ... 10/24-30
Im regards to Graham vs Tazewell. I stated at the beginning of the season that the dogs would go 7-3 and finish runner up in the SWD. Most people that I personally talked to hyping the Tazewell game were the Graham fans. Graham won convincingly, great. Good for them. However. even Graham fans are saying that Tazewell was over-hyoed, which may be accurate. Any qb who was under that type of pressure would have had a hard time. Instead of cutting down an entire footbal team or an individual player, just give credit to where it's due, the Graham defense. am a big Graham fan too. But before everybody starts beating their chests, just exactly what quality team has Graham beaten? Don't say Pulaski because they are giving up 40 points per game. Act like you've been there before, because you have.... no need to constantly remind how awesome you are.

The Dawgs will:
-take a comfortable lead early.
-lose focus and squander lead.
-regain focus and win going away.

I don’t people necessarily hate Tazewell. I think they recognize the inconsistency and failure to utilize the talent to the best of their abilities. With the level of talent they’ve had the past few years, games they lost or barely won, they should have sailed to victory. That begs the questions, what’s going on ? What is the fix?

One DE was out sick. One good thing about having the talent, Tazewell is able to move kids around that can play various positions. Like I’ve said before, they’ve always had the talent. Just not the knowledge of how to use it.

Well, his first name is Robert, but he goes by Bobby. He likes to hitchhike with Janis Joplin in the Southern Louisiana area.

On defense, if Tazewell can get better containment on the ends and corners then I can see Tazewell being in control. On offense, I still don’t understand why they do not use their committee of RBs and run the ball.

Dude is right. Kids, parents, and society have changed. If your program is established and been on a roll as of late, its easier to get kids out. If you have been down in the dumps, attendance falls, critics get louder, and being hurt turns into "injuries".

Times have changed man. You can't go demanding anything of these kids anymore, they either want to do it or they don't. You can't 'punish' kids anymore otherwise they'll just quit and if you've looked on the sidelines lately, Richlands football doesn't have 70 kids dressed anymore.
It's not all on the coaching staff.

If you ever do get the job, bring back those sweet '86 unis on Day 1.

SpillBoss got a reaction from Mountain Football in Tazewell V Grundy
I’m sure Tazewell is like other programs. Politics and favoritism takes control and ruins it for kids. I don’t know how you fix it or if it’s fixable. Tazewell has had several talented athletes the past several years and those talents were limited or never focused on because of personal agendas. I think it’s sad for any school that goes through that.
