Yes, Bluefield is cancelled next two weeks including the Richlands' game. I'm not sure if it will be made up or Richlands will try to find another opponent. @Ryan4VT might know. 

won 70% of games against bland, marion grayson ( a lot of wins against them when they were AA) RR Fort ( who he has most wins from and out talents for AA) Auburn Carroll county, he has 7 automatics a year on just pure talent alone!! when is the last time he beat galax or radford? not in last 5 years. loses to galax 2 times a year. its bad when dixon was calling out our plays from his sideline when we were on O!! Ive watched a few practices and they throw maybe 10 times and work on hands offs the rest. Pass concepts? it was throw deep to Vegas thompson who is at VMI no concept there. He beats every corner in SWVA just throw 50/50 balls and 95% of time thompson gets it. He lost to radford as predicted, will get boat raced against graham and will proceed to lose against galax.  then play galax again in playoffs and lose again! ( ground hog day) i guess if you think on beating up on a bunch less talented teams is success then I guess its a success. on that note LETS GO GW!!!!!!!

Not trying to start a Mark Dixon Fan Club thread here but IMO he could be coaching at the next level if he wanted.

Get in line! Dixon does that to almost every opponent. 

Yeah sure same exact thing but you're not getting the concept that it is the same play literally 7-8 time in a row. Same side of the field same kid running it same everything. I've seen other coaches stack on side of the field and he keep running there. Mark Dixon and the LB #33 were call out our plays before we ran them. Not just saying it's going left no actually calling the name of the play. And no blaming the coaching isn't an easy out go look on preps where I made it perfectly clear WE WILL BE LUCKY TO WIN 6 GAMES. Graham will hang 60+ on us like we aren't on the field. So will Galax and Giles will probably beat us by 3+ scores unless they're really down. RR will gut us all night the only teams we will look like GW against are Bland and Auburn. 3 wins might actually be our cap this season and it will not surprise me. Go watch any recent film on GW with an objective view and come back and tell me you seriously believe we have good coaching. And as GDub said yes we are smaller on the line but the rest hasn't changed. GW is still loaded at all the skills our current QB isn't even a QB he's our best WR his twin is our real QB. The only place we've taken a bump is the line and it's not really skill on the line we've lost its size. Also as GDub said who the hell have we beat since harmer has been the Coach? We haven't beat a single opponent that was a challenge not one they've all been gimmes. Every time he has to actually do his job he is embarrassed go really watch the film go really look at the "wins". Ask 99% of GW faithful fans he is hated as coach not because we haven't won a title but because he is an absolutely terrible coach. The kids don't like him or respect him our numbers has steadily went down every year since he came it's all been bad. Thing of the GW teams from the past with H.S, Pruitt, Russell, Wheeler ect they all had the respect of the players and fans alike this man has neither.

If GW runs the same plays 8 times in a row we may have a shot Friday night...I will tell our coach what GWs tendacies are..

I agree to a degree. Our passing game does in fact need to get sync'ed up, and the only way to do that is thru repetition. But on the flip side, we do need to win. One thing I've noticed with this team is that the WR's block VERY well. We found some rhythm with in the run game with the motion handoff to Fowler and countered that with Luke on the keep. I agree...It's basic, and sure we need more going forward. But given the situation, I wasn't mad at it. I did see a couple of RPO wrinkles that left me encouraged. I'm with you that we have to get Houston, Kirtner, and Walters more involved to be more efficient tho. 
I don't hold that pick 6 squarely on Luke, either. That was a play action by design. All the safety has to do is not bite and the WR comes to him. 
None of those issues irk me more than our tendency to reverse/fake reverse kickoff returns, tho. That's a whole damn soapbox in itself for me. 

GW I was told returned 4 starters on O and D.  It showed against Radford because GW had a whole, whole lot of self inflicted damage against us.  George Wythe in my view was very talented, just inexperienced and thankfully, we caught you all in game one.  Take away the self inflicted stuff and that game is no where close to the score that it was.  Not just turnovers, but against us (Radford), GW gave up about 3 plays where the defender was just out of position.  As in, missed assignment, youth type plays that allowed us to score on one of them and have a couple big gains  George Wythe's defensive line is stout.  They did pretty good against us and they smother FC.  I've read on here where a couple of GW folks feel this may be a 5-5 type season.  I don't know if I will agree on that.  The inexperience only gets more experienced with each game and by game 10, GW, out of all the other teams in Region D and C, may actually be the one that turns out to be second best behind Galax for the 2021 season.

I think we need to throw the ball a little more. Qb hasnt played in two years and needs to throw to get into a rhythm. throwing 7 times a game is hard to get in any rhythm. that being said. he telegraph that pick so bad. i watched huddle and he waited well out the WR was out of his break to throw the pass. needs to work on that. it would be nice if we would run more than 7 different plays a game and especially not the same one 5-6 times in a row. Get the qb on the edge and let him make some throws on the run. its a stagnate offense at best. needs a update or patch thats for sure. 

I was impressed with a couple of FC linebackers myself. Safety made an excellent read on the pick 6. To be honest, the previous series, it looked to me like the slant would be there all day in that formation. Obviously, I was wrong lol! We still have a lot to clean up on the offensive side of the ball, but I can't take anything away from what Fort did defensively. 
I know what you're saying about Fort's offensive scheme as well. Not gonna lie, it was pretty evident to me early that we outmanned them pretty heavily on the edge. From that standpoint, I understand why their offense did what they did, but like you said, there was no counters, no "keep you honest", and no real threat of anything beyond Varney. 100% agree with you. 
And for the life of me, I do not understand why in the hell Fort decided to punt from our 35. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Brandon Harner outcoached Spider in that moment and left our punt return unit on the sideline. Spider got what he deserved there lol. 

I also predicted the Radford/GW score to be 35-14 so I’ve almost been on the money with predicting there games lol

I have nothing but respect for Giles but how can you say even on a bad year they'd be top 4 in 1A? And I promise they would come close to even competing with the top 5 in 1A this year. RH, Galax, GW, Essex, Sussex, PH, Narrows, Auburn would all beat them. And the 1st 4 I named would hang 50+ on them. Again no disrespect but i gotta disagree on a down giles year = top 4 1A. And if I'm being honest idk if a good giles team could be a good RH team.

Anything said by a fellow Sunny fan is correct. So yes it would appear he has. That pick 6 could be huge.

I'm beyond happy for Chilhowie but I honestly think RH will win by 5+ tds. Possibly more if Chilhowie is caught of guard by just how damn good RH is. Chilhowie has seen nothing even close to RH especially in the way they are machine like in execution of the coaches game plan. I hope that Chilhowie wins I really do but I tonn they are just to young for what they are about to face.

All of 1A football is down this season as compared to recent years with the exception of Narrows and Chlhowie.  Any of the Galax, Clintwood, Haysi, Riverheads, Essex and George Wythe teams of the past 5-6 seasons would have dominated from the opening quarter of the opening game of this season.  With that said, I wish Chilhowie all the best and will be rooting for anyone from SWVA at this juncture of the season.  But Riverheads will win this game going away!
I have said on this site for a year, if you're going to get Galax, get them now.  The group coming up through the middle school is going to be something special!

So 2008 was the last year that Riverheads lost more than 2 games in a season. That's pretty impressive. Riverheads truly never rebuilds, they just regroup. Similar to multiple SWVA schools.

Its almost as if some Hurley fans moved to Smyth County.

I think it’s fair to be shocked.  The team that lost to this year’s iteration of George Wythe by 3 playing for a state title?  I mean, Riverheads is as much of a favorite as Appomattox was over Richlands last year, but that’s amazing to me.
