I agree, I think the only ones looking ahead are those of us participating in your Pick'em predictions; otherwise, business as usual for everyone else. One week, one game at a time.

If someone could post that video by Union from last year before the Union/Graham game, that would be awesome! It was truly a masterpiece of good fun. Now, let me go pick up a Happy Meal for lunch 😂.

I think everyone is focused on one game at a time. If any team is looking beyond the next game, they are probably going to be the ones who get sneaked up on, lol. If Graham and Richlands meet again, I think that would still be a hard game for Richlands to win. Graham's defense pounded them all night long even without Lester and the offense has multiple options, running & throwing. Nothing is impossible IF they both make it the regional finals but it's less probable that Richlands wins in a Graham/Richlands final. I really think all the teams are solely focused on this week's game.

Marion last year was a glorified flooded cow pasture with unceasing rain to maintain the mudbathed field. You couldn't see the numbers of any of the players from either team. Gave new meaning to the song Slip Sliding Away. 😂 Heck, you couldn't walk to the restroom without water up to your ankles. I heard they took a power washer to the uniforms, lol.

Any dates/times announced yet?

The saddest thing about VA state elections in my opinion is we are fast becoming more like California. I wish we could give NOVA to DC. There are highly populated pockets of left leaning liberalism determining our state/federal elections when the majority of counties lean more moderate or conservative. If the Democrats being elected were like the Democrats of yesteryear that my grandparents supported, it wouldn’t be so bad to have them in control of both houses & governor’s mansion. The current day Democrats are not even close to what Southern Democrats used to be in my opinion.

I would think it won’t be the blowout that it was during regular season but both teams seemed to have approved a lot especially Graham defense. They have so many options on offense. On the other hand, Tazewell was dealt a hard hand with so many injuries but they rose to the occasion and did really well in my opinion in spite of losing some key players. Best of luck to both but I’m obviously pulling for the GMen!

You know Gate City potential to upset better than me since you’ve seen them play. They did beat Richlands at Ernie Hicks granted it was game one & Richlands has improved greatly. I really hope all games are barn burners in the first round but I don’t see it with Ridgeview or Graham’s match ups.

CalPreps has the following predictions: Marion/*Ridgeview 56-10 Gate City/*Union 34-17 Tazewell/*Graham 35-13 *Richlands/Central 34-28 I’m on board with those predictions for the most part. I’d be surprised if Graham/Tazewell was that close & I’m not sure Gate City puts 17 up on Union or Marion puts 10 up on Ridgeview unless Ridgeview’s 2nd team is really bad.

Richlands 24-14 , they seal the win in the 4th with field goal from Forrest. I also think it will be the best game of the first round unless some unforeseen miracle upset occurs.

It’s a philosophical quandary. If Union is in his number 5 position but he has two number ones, is Union really 5 or 6 😂😂😂😂. He’s not giving up on the Big R taking it all. He loves him some Blue Tornado. I’m not sure Coach Tester and Coach Moore put as much stock in that Mance Cream as Crigger. I do know they all agree on that IGA meat. 😂😂😂😂

That would be a definite upset. I don’t foresee the Bearcats being able to pull that off at Ernie Hicks. I could be wrong but I just don’t see it.

Tony is really good about not doing that and getting 2nd team in early. He’s a classy guy. Your boys stayed with it and didn’t give up. I know for some it was their last (regular season) game and that’s hard win or lose. Football is so much more than just football.

I would think 44 points in a 1:35 has to be a record , lol.

I think should just call the game at halftime. I hate extremely lopsided games.

It rained last year when Graham played Marion. It was a mud bath!!! At least it won’t be a mud bath tonight but I hate rainy football games.

I personally would still like Graham to have that new complex...just sayin’ I voted my thumbs off though to help Mitchell Stadium beat those Texans 😂😂😂😂

It’s going to be freezing!!! It’s great don’t get me wrong but I think doing something at next season’s Graham/Bluefield game would be even better.

I was shocked to be honest when I saw the halftime score but didn't realize it was 4thQ before they turned it around. Maybe it lit a fire under them with it being that close and they'll give everybody a run in the playoffs.

No clue about the other concession stand being closed but it's definitely needed for larger crowds. I guess that's a question for the powers that be...disregard...just saw the answer! Definitely needed for Beaver/Graham game.

Lebanon stayed with Richlands first half or at least the score indicated that. They'll probably hang tough with Tazewell but I still think Tazewell wins.

I like the stadium as far as the field and seating. Not a bad seat really but the concession stand and restrooms need a complete renovation. There really aren't many local high school stadiums where the restrooms are nice to be honest. Mitchell at least has a visitors locker room some schools around here cannot even boast that. Mitchell has great handicap seating where most places build a ramp & say done.
