but I wasn't discounting Richlands defense I was discounting their offense.  I expect it to be a low scoring game..I highly doubt it'll be a high scoring game because union doesn't give up 2 touchdowns a game and Richlands offense doesn't score more than 2 a game. That was my point. 

Someone remind me of the score when these two met in the second game of the season.  Not saying Union will be held to 14, but don't discount Richlands defense, it's better than it was early in the season.  This may be a low scoring game, and it could be a high scoring game, won't know until the final buzzer sounds.

I think the point is that both Richlands and Mo West were competitive teams that had bad seasons and a win over either, while not a victory of epic proportion, was a solid win nonetheless. There is a difference in losing a game 40-20 in the 4th versus it being 40-0 at halftime. Had a bounce here or there gone Richlands way, they could very easily have a winning record right now. 

Wait a minute;didn't Union rush for over 300 yards. And held Riclands under 100 yards. And didn't Union turn the ball over a couple times
in the red zone. Once on the one yard line. Looks to me like Union clearly out played Richlands. Just to be fair.

One thing is to not have a region with only 6 Damn teams...make all regions as equal as possible...they don't care about travel no matter what they say.

Just let every team play in playoffs and make regular season completely irrelevant...and if you finish 0-11 then make sure those kids get a participation trophy
Geez it's getting worse every year

RICHLANDS, BLACKSBURG,JONESVILLE, APPALACHIA , all were ,are good teams, but 0-10???who really thinks they have a shot at winning.I guess I am an old timer and it should mean something to winning games in regular season, in the end  the VHSL wants those gate receipts to pay for their meetings at the beach. If I were on a 0-10 team ,it would be insulting to me to play APPOMATTOX or CLARKE,just to be beat to death

Impressive performance and impressive season considering what could have been.  I know I’ve said it before, but the Bulldogs are gonna be no joke in a couple seasons.
