Isaiah definitely first team in District and Region. He’s a great player with flaws that either become more or less apparent depending on who you pull for. 
 
Central most talented team in the M7-but they don’t have a flow to them that seems natural. 

I didn't say he wasn't good.  I If i was picking a team he wouldn't be on it.  The games ive seen him play he is a selfish player and does have an attitude problem in my opinion.  If Im putting a group of talented kids together to play other teams he isn't someone i would wont on the team
 

To say McAmis is not All-District is far fetched to me. He is a pretty good basketball player! I have to agree that Hayes is the better all around player on the team, due to his ability to drive and create a lot on his own, his defense, and his rebounding ability is something in my opinion that makes him better all around.  Shooting is one of McAmis' strong points, and if he gets hot, watch out he can bury a team very quick.  If it is an off night for him, he still puts up decent numbers, but forces some shots.
I believe a lot of people base their opinion of Isaiah, based on their take of TJ and dislike for the Warriors.  Yes, Isaiah does get frustrated and sometimes it comes out and gets him in trouble, but what teenager doesn't get frustrated and do something out of character at some point.
If you leave out peoples dislike for the Warriors and TJ, and look strictly out how the kid plays basketball, everyone knows he is a good basketball player and loves to compete.

It’s good that he is gone, he hung a black cloud over the central program by his comments and his actions! Heaping praise on his son while never mentioning the quality players around him. Sad that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree, son is a good player with the same all about me bad attitude ! The dislike for them in the area was evident at GC last night, every fan base there cheered for Union ! McAim created his own monster, sad !

I doubt Stevie Niece would take the job, I think I he will be gone when McAmis is gone! I had heard last year that Stevie was not even coaching this year, but the Seniors of the team talked him to finish out with them! I could be wrong, but like stated above, I would hate to be taking over that program right now!

I don’t mind the district being played at the 1 seeds home court.  That’s the reward for going through the regular season and finishing on top.  If anything was to ever change I feel like it should be on a neutral court but not a rotation.

I agree Hokie101, Dean has improved his game as far as driving to the basket and finishing.  He also made a lot of good passes that lead to easy points for GC.  Dean is definitely a game changer.
Not sure that Central would of won if they would of stayed in the 2-3 zone but I definitely think the game would of been much closer, and I think everybody else agrees with me as well.

Bottom line and the folks from Wise get their panties in a wad when I talk about mediocre coaching on the boys side although the record speaks for itself. The cold,hard truth is you give Scotty 5 seniors to put on the floor and GC beats everybody in the distric by 20+ and plays for the state title. I knew Central was in trouble when they barely scraped by the youngest Union squad I've seen. There's only one excuse for this Warrior team to not sail through the distric. we know what it is:)

To not be worried about GC you mentioned them almost as much as your son.  Coach, worry about your team and not a message board.  

Central is a much better team than what was displayed against RV Tuesday.  Hayes in most ways is a better player than Isaiah BUT when Hayes is taken completely out of his game as far as his drive and attack game and rebounding game by McAmis so that Isaiah can look like the better player on the court I think Central will continue to struggle. Again, it goes back to there is NO I in TEAM it takes every player on the court to win a game and everyone using their own strengths to help that team!! I think Central will come out ready to hopefully play the game that people got used to seeing and hearing about them playing in the Arby’s Classic.
