So if 1-9 is competitive to you then you’re lost. Other years it’s been different. This year, the M7 has kicked the SWDs ass. I’m a believer of a four team playoff. In that setup the only SWD team that should get in is the league champ due to the league’s poor performance against the M7.

The defending state champions go into another gear for the rest of the season and pulls away from the competition at about the same point this time last year. It will start Friday night.

I miss the Kone as well. The Moose on the other hand, good riddance. 

Maybe if Bearded Moose had paid his taxes he'd still be in business and the tax revenue could have boosted our recruitment budget. 

You should give Vaught full credit. He's also spewed more racial slurs than most coaches.

Here’s the thing, I remember when Tazewell use to get cheated every other year when we went to Richlands and played there. But none of them will talk about that😂 I hold nothing against Richlands. I just like watching all the Richlands folks talk crap about something when they used to be the same way.

Needless to say I'm a little surprised by this from THIS fan base. The goal should be to play at a level where the officials are a non factor. 
With this attitude the rest of the NFL should never play the Patriots (sorry, couldn't resist). 

With all due respect, it’s ridiculous to compare 2003 to Friday night’s game. In 2003 the game was won and refs determined the outcome. There was one questionable call in my opinion Friday night. Bluefield had two TDS called back: two sloppy plays that allowed Richlands to score. If not for those missteps, the outcome would have been even more lopsided. Richlands played hard but they weren’t beating Bluefield this year, period. Anyone blaming the loss on refs didn’t watch the same game I did. Bluefield is strong, fast, talent all over the field. Richlands has talent in Webb and Forest. Simmons is decent at QB. They should have a good season when it’s said & done and make playoffs.  If Bluefield had everyone in & healthy it would have been a more embarrassing loss than the regular season game with Graham last year. I’m not throwing any shade at Richlands , they always play hard and are well coached. I’m just looking at the entire picture realistically. 2003 is nowhere near 9/27/19.
