You know, it's a shame Graham didn't play a tougher schedule, otherwise; this game would have been 58-7 instead of 48-7. Our schedule clearly hurt us.

You know, they stopped sounding the train horn about midway through the second qtr, LMAO.  Also, the Union stadium announcer is a guy I feel sorry for.  This guy is so depressed that his voice is actually cracking as he's calling the game.  I think the guy literally might have been crying a bit in the late 1st qtr.  Also, Union played the train horn up until the snap of the football all through the first qtr.  That's a bad look, period.  I'm a horn man.  I love horns and whistles and stuff, but playing them literally during the cadence is not cool.  Either way, the train horn has ran out of gas. 

I watched Frozen II with my kids tonight, so I couldn’t follow along.  This...is shocking.  I knew Graham was better, but good God.  That team’s a state champion if they do that three more times.

Dude is crow filled, period.   I told him Graham would have one of the two linebackers spying Polier every play with Meadows playing on early downs in defensive series.   He said that would not work or it would be blown up immediately.  He then argued that Meadows wasn't good on defense.   Just straight........crow.

Graham is going to HOST next week!!!!  Ridgeview doesn't get the first down and Central takes over and will run the clock out!

Of course. Everyone does. The issue with Ridgeview at least for this year is......their five from tackle to tackle can beat you. I'm watching some of the HUDL stuff and he's not even getting touched on several occasions until he's yen yds off the line of scrimmage. The line at Ridgeviee on O is a huge portion of their team few have talked about in making them a solid football team.

Meg's coached at Glenvar for 2 seasons. Glenvar had 7 consecutive non-winning seasons prior to Meg's taking over as Head Coach. He went 7-3 his first year and 6-4 during the next which was his last season.  For the first time in 7 years, Glenvar not only had 1 winning season, but it had two in a row at the hands of a young-newly started Head Coach.

It would be like Union buying cleats from Bluefield or Princeton. Richland's actually purchased their cleats 27 years ago in the town of Salem if I'm not mistaken. It may have been Roanoke, but it was very very close to the town of the team they were playing. Imagine Union purchasing cleats that are a touch to long from Bluefield, WV or Princeton, WV, and then hosting Graham. That's actually what happened with Richlands 27 years ago.
With that written, I think Richlands was still better than Salem and the King of 4A (Div 4) football that year. I was at the Salem game in 92, and also at the championship against Orange County. Also, in 1993, Richlands was banned from the playoffs which was the year after the state title. That Richlands 1993 team would have repeated in Div 4, (AA, Div 4) if they would have been allowed to make it. I would argue that to the end. That 93 team was absolutely on fire by game 10 and I think they would have repeated. They were brutal up front.

If Union holds Graham to 21, they'll win. It'll mean Union has dominated TOP and likely forced a couple turnovers.
 
21-14 would shock me. 

Another fun fact: Snake Palmer was defensive coordinator for Richlands back then and is now in his second year as an assistant at Graham working with defense.
 
You’re correct, I believe they got cleats from a guy out of Salem. With said, I believe Richlands would have won regardless. Don’t know why Vaught thought he needed those cleats. I heard all the assistants at the time told him they didn’t need them and didn’t want players to use them but he thought differently I guess. 

Well I am going with the four out of the five wooly worms I have seen that have been all black and predict a hard winter.

If Graham loses, they have no excuses, they are fully healthy now according to the paper

Wow!! I dont even seen that. The rain will slow us down a little and I really dont know what to expect. Graham is capable of a blowout but it is Union. Maybe 10-14 points at best Graham but I expect closer.
