I here ya GDUB.  I was only going by what one of your fans told me at the game.  I had/have no idea what GW lost or returned until we played.

I think we need to throw the ball a little more. Qb hasnt played in two years and needs to throw to get into a rhythm. throwing 7 times a game is hard to get in any rhythm. that being said. he telegraph that pick so bad. i watched huddle and he waited well out the WR was out of his break to throw the pass. needs to work on that. it would be nice if we would run more than 7 different plays a game and especially not the same one 5-6 times in a row. Get the qb on the edge and let him make some throws on the run. its a stagnate offense at best. needs a update or patch thats for sure.

i dont think we returned 4 starters on offense and not that many on d. i would have to check that. i know we need to get Ben, Lukes  brother back in a bad way. word on the street he should be ready to go in october. he might be the best skilled player on the team.

I think Fort Chiswell comes out on top. GW doesn’t seem up to their normal level compared to other seasons. Of course, the season is just starting and I could be wrong. 

Man don’t be shocked if we roll up 200 on the ground and 150 in the air! We have 1 senior on our team. 10 juniors 10 sophomores and rest freshmen. Plus our best bar none athlete is out till oct after tearing acl in the spring. His twin brother is the qb! Now if he was there, Katy bar the door!

What makes  you think Radford is Good. I watch that film against Allegheny they killed you guys with pass and if they weren’t so slow they could have scored a few times. Alleghenies linebackers were in the hole just about every time but they can’t tackle. They were pretty bad! 8  ur qb is fast and a good qb from what I could tell but he shys away from contact on offense and defense. 22 is probably your best football player. He is all over the field on D he is solid. I think u will be surprised at our team speed on d and I know we tackle a lot better than allegheny. This game will be a lot  closer than  people think.

you are wrong with it being apple to oranges research is based on per 100,000 per population not just arbitrary numbers as you would like it to be.  people get sick every day. it started as deaths then hospitalizations and now cases. When do the goal post stop moving? what is your number that you would feel comfortable with pertaining to covid cases, zero? well sorry to say it will never be zero for cases in our lifetime. its virus and virus will virus.  people die everyday of something that could have been prevented more easily that covid. most people who have been dying of covid in America are diabetic and over weight, maybe the government should make it mandatory to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle while we are at it im yet to hear this.  people know the risk and its their life they should be able to make an informed  and educated decision for themselves. people should stop trying to parent others kids or others in general. if people are worried and scared they should stay home and protect themselves.as for rest we should go out and live. because what we are doing now is not living. why test if no symptoms? their is no therapeutic for this so if sick and not feeling well or showing symptoms  just stay home if breathing becomes an issue then go to hospital. Follow the obama plan when the swine flu happened in 2009 there were 75.000,000 cases. we are just half way there with covid at 38,000,000 he said stop testing its a pandemic. if sick stay home other than that live your life.  

look at vdh covid rate yes people are getting covid but deaths are 0.8  per 100,000 and new hosptialization was 23 for the entire state. goes back to if you are a high risk person stay home. if not get out and live your life. yes kids get this but they get pneumonia and the flu at greater rates and we never shut down for that. hell sweden did nothing and stayed open  this whole time and they havent had a covid death in over a month. maybe we should try their way since our way isnt working to well. IMO

why would the whole team have to sit out? little over kill wouldn't you say?  gonna be a lot of rumors out there this year. not looking forward to it

10 days? I mean exposure or close contact isn’t just walking by someone or even talking to them for a few minutes outside! CDC states exposure is 15 min or longer in poorly vented room. What are we doing here!

Radford only had 3 kids on the team test positive.  I was told 1 of those 3 was a false positive, and here we are, one year later, with the vaccine, better knowledge of how to treat, and CDC recommending that we do not have to quarantine simply due to an exposure if vaccinated, and what do we do?  10 day-program shutdown.  It was exactly why I made the post questioning our season and worried about an overreaction from school districts.  Well, the season hasn't even started yet and here we go.  Scrimmage one with Grayson cancelled.  This season, regardless of who gets to watch the game in person will be worse than the spring in my opinion regarding teams competing, cancels, players out, teams halting seasons and not participating, etc.  The thing is, it doesn't have to be this way.  Sad.  
I'm just now reading where Galax only had 1 kid positive.  I don't care if it was a nudist gathering free for all of 5,000 people, 1 kid positive is unfortunate, but an overreaction for just putting the program on hold/shut down for 10 days?  Absolutely it is, and this is where the danger rests in our season.  Over reactions.  It's absolutely absurd that Galax and Radford did this.  Now think about these onezies and twozies with positive infections?  Teams are going to have one or two kids positive throughout the season at least more than a few times.  That's a given.  Are we going to shut down each time?  I hate to be a negative nancy, but I want football, and I'm standing by that post a week ago.  I don't think Virginia will have a high school football season this year when all is said and done.  It will start or get started, but I give it no more than 2-3 weeks tops.  Now, if the programs would go by the CDC recommendations, we would have a season, but you can already see even before the season has started, the deviation or overreaction of some programs.  

First time poster long time reader i have a couple of nephews playing this fall at a few local teams
 
I understand safety protocols and making sure as few people as possible are not potentially infected and so on and so forth
 
But at what point do athletes and coaches stop going to get tested?  
 
i mean this isnt going away obviously so your choices are got get the shot, or stop getting tested, thats the only way to get some normal back
