If this is an attempt to smack talk Craig County, then it’s rather pathetic and comical. Or is that a response to my analogy about how we know what it’s like to lose in Craig County? I am not butt hurt about Union losing. At the end of the day, I don’t give a hoot about Union or Central. I am simply pointing out your foolishness. First, YOU make a remark about how Union fans are making excuses without sharing what was said and I respond that I haven’t seen excuses. YOU say “but it’s not on here,” without explaining. It sounds as if YOU are trying to stir something up.

I didn’t say that at all. You failed to specify where the Union fans were making excuses. Therefore, I reasonably assumed that you meant on here. If it’s on Twitter or Facebook then yes, you are going to find some knuckle headed fools on there. Right now I am sure some people from Central are doing some “in-your-face” bragging and trolling toward Union faithful. I bet ZERO people talking smack have ever played football. I guess when you get your bell rung for 7 years straight it puts a chip on your fans’ shoulders. I am from Craig County. We in Craig know what it’s like to get your bell rung a lot. I have a few friends from Union and I have heard stories of knuckleheads from both fan bases when it comes to each other.

It sounds like Union fans are accepting the loss for what it was. I don’t know how Central fans are reacting but it sounds as if someone is a bit sour toward Union.

Not a fan of either team. But I haven’t seen a single Union excuse.

From the sounds of it and research on both, I say Union 38, Central 6.

Personal goals are good but when the score is that big that late in the game, let the younger players have experience. He can be a couple of steps from an injury, whether from cheap shots or landing awkwardly. You don’t want to take a chance like that when he doesn’t need to be in.

Many people I know from Salem would say the same thing about unfair advantages. And a train horn didn’t make Salem lose in 1992. I don’t know about Union’s train horn. But I have researched Gate City and their train horn. How many people have complained about them?

What was the score and what happened?

I would say Union doesn’t run from competition from what I have seen. I don’t know much about Paintsville KY but I shall take your all’s word for it that they are good. But playing Graham, the Virginia 2A defending champions sounds like good competition. Richlands has usually had an excellent program. Union sounds like they’d have some good series against some teams here in the Roanoke Valley and New River Valley.

I remember going to Salem Stadium in 2009 or 10. I can’t remember. I watched the Blue Devils beat a very good Gretna team that I thought would roll them. Sad to see the sad state of affairs that has plagued Gate City the last several seasons. We feel your pain here in Craig. I am glad to see them coming back.

My friends 20 minutes away in Salem wonder what kind of cleats will be used.

Good to see William Fleming get a win. Hate that PH-Roanoke lost Friday. And most of us in the Roanoke and New River Valleys could stand to see Salem lose.

If he is indeed guilty, he should not even darken the premises of any event. If he is guilty of harassment, “going out like that” serves him right. He brought it on himself.
