You do realize that despite this 10 point victory against this 10 loss team, Graham’s only losses were to a mythical Blufield team...which is basically like a college team. This board needs to realize that...

I know of at least six different articles/tweets from four different media outlets (i.e. Kingsport Times-News, JC Press, Bristol HC, WCYB) that have reported scoring totals that don't agree with any of the others.

I see now, looks they were indeed counting an extra game.  He scored 39 against Va High in the benefit game after Science Hill game in which he had 50 or so.  I looked back and found the KTN player of the year article from last year and it says 1673 at the conclusion of last season.  So, going on that, he would be at 2467 now.  Looks like 2000 came later against Battle on the 5th.

Well, this is confusing.   Something has to be off.  Were they wrong on his 2000th career point?  He's score 506 since that point and 794 on the season as a whole, including all games that are listed.  The season total should be off unless the 2000th point was not scored against Lakota East.

After scoring 43 points tonight, @McclungMac is 154 points away from tying Allen Iverson's VHSL record of 948 points in a season. For his career, McClung has scored 2,506 points. That currently ranks 5th all-time in VHSL history. He's 264 points shy of the all-time career record

Actually they play 5A and 6A teams (Halifax and Franklin Co.)...bigger doesn't always mean better though.

I dont believe RC ended up playing KACHEA in girls action.   It looks to have been removed from their schedule.

I heard them comment on the number of minutes a couple of the Lee girls had played and that was the perceived difference in the game....GC ladies were up 31-10 at that point...already had a tremendous number of turnovers and ended up not scoring for over 13 minutes to end the game.  Lee girls are 0-12.  Me thinks the difference was more than that.

Ad got some scores from me the other day which is why I knew they would be up to date. He usually is on top of it especially after district games.

Thank you.  I knew some of the games were moved around because the snow but didn't see if any were canceled all together.
Knowing what tourney the boys were in now helps me find the scores, added them to the schedules.  E.C. Glass (30-63) and Heritage (26-66).

That could be why I couldn't find the scores.  Marion's schedule had Richlands as their first opponent in it, and I read a report on on RR's first game in it that said they would play Richlands next.  Given none of them of them are showing any scores vs. Richlands, I would say they didn't play in it.

They said at the end of the game that they weren't hating on GC, just telling the truth.  Said GC won't get so many easy layups against teams in the playoffs.  I'm thinking, "really?  You think so?" lol.  Quite the expert analysis there.  IMO need to watch them against someone other than Lee.  Actually, to be honest, he was effectively putting down Lee more by it all.  I don't know if they realize the competition GC faced in the Arby's or not.  I'll give you some of his wisdom on McClung:  Early in the game, said would he be better if he didn't show boat so much...he wouldn't be Georgetown worthy good, but "pretty dang good".   Most of his scoring was on layups and he wouldn't be getting those at Georgetown.  After missing a three pointer on his second attempt in the game he said McClung is prone to missing three's, then on a successful three point shot late in the game the comment was made about it being uncontested and that's how most of his shots were.  They continually praised Ervin in saying he was the real leader and should be getting the D1 looks instead.  The entire game they mocked the size of the crowd noting it wasn't sold out like was rumored.  Sadly I think that was worse for Lee's sake, not many were interested in seeing that one.  You get the same kind of stuff during broadcasts of games with Union and some other teams.  I just want to hear the game called respectively.  It's not bad at all without the bonus negative commentary.   If I recall right, there was a movement last year or so from some Lee faithful to have this person removed from broadcasting some of the girls games.

Worth mentioning that Tim Hayes thought McClung had 31 again Knox Christian, reports and the books both had 31.
