Is it not possible that this guy wanted to come back closer to home?  I don't know him but assuming his wife is from this area as well, it makes sense he would not stay in South Carolina if given a reasonable opportunity locally.

Normally, I would think that if VHS also wins the tournament, that the tournament runner up would get the other region spot.  But with the way this conference is set up, one better not make assumptions.

I have never been a fan of it in baseball, volleyball, softball, or basketball.  I wish the game limits would be expanded as well.

Districts are now obsolete. They literally do not matter. Go research what the new conference alignments are BigWinners. 
 
Just have to be top 16 in points to proceed to Regions in the West. You better hope you are opposite Gate City and more importantly Richlands... They are loaded next year.
