  1. i think it's the right decision overall. Vick got his 2 years that he was out of the league, and then 2 regular season games. i think he learned his lesson, with all the interviews he has been in, he has shown that he has changed. and then on top of that, he has Tony Dungy watching his every move and being a counselor, so to say, he has earned his privilege back.
  2. i agree with Beavertail completely! the kid from Boise St. initiated everything by saying a few words and bumping him thinking he was a complete and total Billy Badass. the kid from Boise St. was laughing about it to his teammates, in my eyes he got what was coming by doing that. now Blount should have been the bigger person and walk off, but after a game, with all the emotions, he wasnt thinking im sure. he was upset about the game and then took it out in the wrong way. both should see suspensions in my eyes.
  3. and don't forget that AB is VERY good at catching out of the backfield. that could be the biggest part of his game this year with the Giants not having that number one reciever.
  4. if im not on my xbox, i will be watching both, flipping back and forth lol.
  5. pond works, i would like the pool, either one works really.
  6. lazy, maybe. taking advantage of technology given to our society, yes.
  7. he may be a joke. but he has potential beyond most people here on this board, hence why he was invited to walk-on. once again this goes back to, why put down kids on this board for succeeding???? are you jealous because he has an opportunity you didnt/wont have??? and just an fyi, he didnt really like Marrs too much from what i heard.
  8. I think Bluefield comes in cocky, takes it in the mouth the first quarter, then pulls it together. Princeton makes a comeback in the fourth but falls just short. Bluefield - 35 Princeton - 27
  9. I talked to him about halfway through the summer and he was invited to walk-on. Or at least that's what he told me, I believe him completely. He has quite a bit of potential, with the right coaching he can excel. And as for Big D, congrats man! I hope you keep your head up and keep playing hard, I know you can do well at the next level!
  10. No, I respectfully disagree with you. I think he believes in his team and he really does think they can compete with the mighty Beavers. Like he and many others said from Graham, they had a bad night. A really bad night. Marrs even said so himself in that article. He shouldn't have to re-word his statement because it might hurt some feelings from the fans of Bluefield. That's selfish and ignorant. He really, truly believes that they could have won on a different night and that's all he was stating. I don't think he, or any other players will get hung up on the game. They are ready to show what they can do. He just stated that he thinks they could play with them, and beat them, on a good night for them.
  11. and i apologize to the mods for my language in that post.
  12. Okay, tell me how it is stupid??? Like I said before, you want him to come out and be like, "Well we completely sucked up the field tonight, we are gonna lose most of our games last night, we might as well hang up the pads." No wonder high school and college athletes have such crappy attitudes after they lose. It's just a damn game. And he knows that, more than most of you apparently, because he still has faith in his team and teammates. What's wrong with being confident even if you do suck?? Who cares? This kid believes. But go ahead, call him stupid, put him down. I will remember this, and if Bluefield loses a game this year and a player says they could have won. I will put him down. HARD. And let's see how many of you Bluefield fans will jump over my shit for it.
  13. In all honestly, I love his spirit. That shows that he has not lost faith in his team. He still has a good attitude which is hard to come by with high school/college players now after losing games/rivalries. I hope everyone on Graham's team has that same attitude because then they won't just lay down for anyone. I love his attitude. Who are you all to come on here and bad mouth a HIGH SCHOOLER for having faith in his team and teammates. Even if they aren't as good as Bluefield, who cares? He has the best attitude out of any high schooler I have seen in a long time. I would love to have players like that if I were a coach.
  14. i heard that a Bluefield College graduate, Alysha Cornell is helping coach. not sure if she is the head coach or not. hope that helps.
  15. year before last Jevan Snead transfered from Texas to Ole Miss because he felt he was better than Colt McCoy. players transfer out of bigger schools all the time for that reason. they feel they can go to a different college and stand out rather than sit the bench and only play the 4th quarter of a few games or the last series, etc.
  16. didnt everyone count out Graham last year too?
  17. that TD run was on the top ten for sportscenter last night. number 4 i believe.
  18. and he actually played DOUBLE A football. Gretna dropped to SINGLE A after he left. get your facts straight
  19. cant invite me to a golf game? i see how it is man!
  20. unnesccessary? i wasnt dissing him. i was stating the facts. just because you have a good SHUTTLE time doesnt mean he is D1 caliber. but if you want to believe that D1 scouts look at shuttle times keep thinking that. D1 scouts look at on-field performance and off-field attitude and conduct.
  21. agreed. i went to 2 Tazewell games this past season and Corner was hustling every play and in the middle of everything on defense. you cant ask for more out of a defensive player. he knew his job and he did it well. he is a very good player. speed isnt everything as others have pointed out. if you are a smart player you dont need the speed most of the time. and as said, he has very much heart. and from what i have noticed, he is a good kid. he might let his anger get the best of him from time to time but that shows he is involved and puts everything into the game and leaves everything on the field every game. dont listen to this clown Corner, keep up the good work and you will get looks from colleges. you are a good player and any team around here would be happy to have you.
  22. Cop hired by our hotel to keep people from shooting off fireworks on the property. Me and my brother weren't too happy that he said something to us. We let him know. He let us know he could take us to jail haha.
  23. haha i almost got arrested in Carolina Beach! lol
  24. Ah!!!! My internet has been down since last Tuesday and I haven't been able to talk about these two games with many people. Spain played a decent game and they are an amazing team, but like they were saying on Sportscenter, Spain is a VERY predictable team when it comes to attacking. I was more impressed with the first half of the Brazil game then I was with the whole Spain game. US scored two very good goals against Brazil (not to mention the second was on a counter-attack which is Brazil's poison you could say) and they were playing very well. But I knew Brazil would come out a completely different team in the second half. Were US able to hold them scoreless the first 10 minutes of the second half US could have the cup right now.
