I understand that, or the fact that mostly the teams with deeper playoff runs get picked. I think this should also probably be the case 95% of the time, but this is that 5% where you have kid who is a D1 Commit. When the talent is so obvious, that should trump a deep playoff run in these 1 to 5% of cases. Coe is committed to a team that was ranked in the top 25 in the country for a part of the season. If the All State Team only selects All Region kids, then the Region also made a mistake if Coe wasnt first team Defensive End. I watched Graham, Union, Tazewell, Ridgeview, Gate City. They are all awesome teams, but none of them has a Defensive End as good as Coe. I do understand the WHY....related to why he didn't make All State because no deep playoff run/Marion being a weaker team, but I just wish they would occasionally make an exception for the WHY when you have a D1 kid. Just my opinion though. I'm sure others may have a different take.
Coaches from the top 2 teams in the regions are the ones who vote on the all state team. Do you think that Palmer or Turner are going to leave one of their own kids off to get a kid from Marion on there?

I think Graham's defense will be flat out nasty next year. Looking forward to see how Cambell Fix is utilized on offense. Watched him play basketball the other night, that kid is very athletic and fast.
He was almost unstoppable last year for Princeton Middle.
Graham's recent transfers have been Mt.View/Princeton right? Other than the kid who played on the o-line this year am I missing a transfer from Bluefield?
The state championship was held last week in Christiansburg. Graham's defense held Radford in check better than any other team this season sacking Clark several times, plus two interceptions I believe, and holding the passing yards/rushing yards to lowest all season.
Riverheads couldn't step up when it mattered most. Congratulations to Coach Crist and the Bobcats for completing that elusive perfect season that not many teams achieve.
I know you guys want to keep graham in the conversation as long as possible but can we quit saying this? Graham couldn’t do anything with Radford in the second half. They were not a threat in the 4th quarter to win the game.
In comparison, Radford needed a prayer to barely escape Glenvar at home. Radford had to score a touchdown on their last drive.
None of this is arguable.
Congrats to Radford for a perfect season & to Riverheads on being state runners-up!
TCSB is waiting until the Alabama wins the championship to contact one of Saban's assistants to offer the HC position, and why not, all other college teams seem to gather up his assistants, Kirby Smart and Lane Kiffen, for example. Might be a good move!

1st off I’m a football fan don’t care who actually wins those little awards. That schedule you mention Palmer does great job of subbing early he isn’t throwing the ball late in games with starters in
