1st I don’t like the name of the school it reminds me of labor unions and I won’t go there.
2nd even though I don’t live in S W Virginia I still feel the should have named the new school either Powell Valley or Appalachia high school. The same thing with Central and Eastside high school. Don’t get me wrong I would root for Powell Valley or Appalachia highh school almost anytime.
I DESPISE the 3 names WC stuck on these schools. When Central was formed, I wanted Indian Creek High school named for the mountain/road connecting the 2 communities and liked Redhawks as the name for the redtail hawks that call this region home. Union is only slightly better a name and Eastside sounds like a gangbanger's paradise:). They claim the students voted for the name. Either A they didn't or B the other name they had on the ballot was turdbuckets.
Watch Army-Navy on CBS right now. Going to West Point in 2017 was such an amazing experience for me. The rivalry is bitter, but the RESPECT is beyond compare. GO ARMY!!!! BEAT NAVY!!!! This game represents the very best our great land has to offer.

Every single time, Riverheads does more than match up. They win more often than not. Lord Botetourt, Christiansburg, Stuart’s Draft, Central Woodstock, Poquoson, Glenvar……
At what point do we give them the credit they deserve and stop projecting with wishful thinking?
Bold take maybe but I don’t believe this game will be very close. Riverheads by more than two TD’s.

The coment about Union or Graham finishing 4-5th in the other distric was hilarious, since it was based on a bad game by Graham, but I'm not the dude who vamooses when I am wrong. I've shucked 50 pounds in less than 2 months by eating baked chicken. Tonight I get baked crow:). Nothing but respect to Radford on the win today. I'd love to see them beat RH,but it's tall task no doubt.
The majority of my family lives in upstate New York. There football is played on Saturday and a huge crowd is 300. I have a buddy up there who is coming to Bullitt next year to watch a game with me. I cannot wait:)

I always put videos on my Facebook page of our entrance and all the festivities. The first time he saw one it blew him away. I told him that in person is so much louder. In his neck of the woods hockey does that..
As some of you know, I live in south Florida and take in a ton of games (28 this season) due to games on Thursdays and Fridays because of shared stadiums and referee shortages. This year, I saw 32 different teams, and while all but 5 of those teams would solidly thump or mercy rule Graham and Union, there are NONE of those teams who play with the passion those kids played with today, and there is NO place down there that is in the same universe in terms of game atmosphere as what I saw today. I wish I had a video of it to show those people.

Graham made incredible adjustments from game 1 to 2. This is why everyone was quiet. Knew it was going to be a dog fight between 2 very evenly matched teams.
Union could have come out in the 2nd half, gone up by 2 scores and forced Graham to play catch up, but blew it.
Bears couldn't stop Clements. Worst line play all year. Credit GMen for that.
I thought Union would matchup better with Radford, but I still think Graham wins.

No excuses at all. Clements was the best player on the field, and Graham absolutely deserved to win this. 11-2 with a bunch of sophs though, I'll take that. The future at UHS is very bright. Go embarrass Raddy G-Men:)
Radford scored with about 10 seconds left and is gonna win 29-24.
If Union wins tomorrow Chandler will run roughshod over Radford,
If Graham wins tomorrow, Clements will leave vapor trails to the zone.
Neither team will have any issues with Radford. I saw nothing that impressed me tonight to be honest. The QB is fairly quick, but both union and graham possess MUCH more team speed.
