Falcons are about to be brought back down to earth. Hard.

You can have great coaches but also you need being tough,having heart and the will to be a champion before you can win.(recipe for success) Something that Abingdon still does not have. Seems like some people just want a instant powerhouse just add hot water and stir.
Now a couple of tips to get the dynasty started.
1. Drop the small 1a schools and play some 4a and 5a schools from Tenn.( you may lose and not get to walk around with your chest stuck out for a week) but you will gain more points and get a higher ranking for hosting home playoff games also playing at a higher level will help the kids learn they have to play hard for 4 quarters.
2.Run that damn hill (beside the visitors bleachers) about 20 times each practice so your not gased come the 4th quarter.

That's why you play have to play all 4 quarters against a good team

Ron, Dave, Brett, Edith, Bethany, Elliot and Lloyd are the BEST in my book. They are all GREAT people too. I appreciate all they do for our community and many others people don't even know about. A lot of very hard and dedicated work!

Ah. Lol. Yeah. That's what happened. It was a large reason for us losing to Cave that year. Without AJ, they just keyed on the run and made the other WRs try to beat them. 

Bullitt parking...roam the back streets until you see an opening and dive in....

I might add that our parking isn't the greatest. Most people park on the street near the library and the First Baptist Church. I'm hoping the game will be Saturday afternoon so I can see it.

This was a great game. I was expecting a close, high scoring type affair. But we got a great defensive battle instead. I feel like the biggest factor in the loss was Haysi having to play 10 players both ways. They just ran out of gas at the end, and the line couldn't hold enough to let the play develop. With that said, they played GREAT given the circumstances. They definitely proved that Honaker is not heads and shoulders better than everyone else. 
 
I'll echo Razor in saying that redtiger and his group that we sat with were amazing. No one sat down the entire game. Fans were vocal and into it. And they were just generally nice guys. Thanks for having us!!! I know we both had a blast.

Congratulations Marion ! I would have loved to have been there for this one. I knew it could go either way and from the sounds of it....it could have. We was wondering why Abingdon went for it instead of kicking the field goal but there you go... if they make it they probably win. Its easy to second guess but I think even Mance would have kicked in that situation and he hates to kick.
 
I'm sure there was many more plays that could have made a different outcome but you just have to say hats off to Marion for coming back and taking what was dealt. Great season Abingdon because you have earned some much needed respect and deserve it. Congratulations Mountain Man and Big O and I wish you all luck in the playoffs!

I'm one of those kinds of people who runs off of rhythm. Maybe it's the fact I'm a music major, maybe not. Either way, my days and even weeks all have a certain flow to them. So doing this and even doing the Pick'em just flows and even is a calming agent for me.

That is correct Ryan and they are exceeding expectations. Coach Wells is a very talented Coach and very few work as hard at it as him.

Gate City, Richlands, and Marion that you wouldn't even put in your top ten will all be tough outs.
