I don't give a damn how bad Gate City is. But there's no way a person should rank J.I. Burton, Chilhowie, and Lee in front of them. That's just flippin silly. Hell, Lee hasn't beat GC since 1998, that's even with the 4-6 season of 06, and the 2-8 season of 2015. JIB is trash, have been since they joined the Cumberland. Chilhowie made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, now they're top 10 preseason worthy? My goodness. I believe it should be a top 5 list only if we are gonna put pitiful programs in there such as those. 

Im sure if there good enough to start for the blues they will be missed in hurley.

A guy told me this morning he didnt know if it was a punishment or not having to sit out against Appomattox hell it may be a privilege that he dont have to play them..i felt like kicking him rite in his fat a$$ but i let it go...

Appomattox is due for a bad performance...29 straight wins is a lot..and from the looks of there roster there gonna be as good or better next year.lets just hope the ball bounces the blues way come Saturday..either way win or loose im proud of these young men most ppl didnt give them a chance to even be here after all the seniors we lost off last years team...and with the struggles of the run game...

It's difficult for a coach, any coach, to "fix" issues enabled by the administration the coach answers to.

the first one was for taunting and other one was a late hit which wasnt real real late but was a lil late...i was told they was gonna appeal it not sure if it will help..but hopefully.

I think this game comes down to how well the Blues are able to limit J.Cousin in the run game,  and limit the big plays in the passing game. If JC is able to run at will then the Gmen win this game,  but if the Blues front 7 are able to slow him down then the blues have a chance.
I know that Graham can throw the ball pretty effectively,  but if the Gmen are able to run the ball with JC then they can control the game and the amount of possessions the blues will have.  
Also the blues must be able to run the ball enough to keep the Gmen D at least a little off balance, whether that means JLA runs it like he did in the 2nd half in the 1st game or the run game that the Blues have had in the last couple of games,  or in my opinion a combination of both show up,  they cannot be one dimensional and beat this Graham team.
I also think that Howie has to be the Howie we saw earlier in the year, hopefully he is close to 100% by Friday,  the blues are going to need his speed and big play capability !  It was great to see S.Ball back to 100% again,  the first time in a while with him fighting that ankle injury most of the year.  By the way, D Booker had just a fantastic game last night and we will need another game like this from him this week.
Going to be a great game no matter who wins with what should be one of the best game atmosphere's around here in a looong time !

I look for gate city to upset somebody in rd 1..they are pretty goood ball team when healthy

I never look past blue field no matter there record....they got 2 great running backs that can score at anytime..but I still like my blues 49_21
