Bluefield 7-0 over Richlands. 2nd Q.

7-0 Bluefield in the 2nd Q. About half time

That doesn't seem like running up score. Robbins at PV did same thing, starters would play first series after the half and then empty the bench. 

If Bluefield "ran up the score" then they would have had 90-100 points.

OK, here's how Freddie operates...in blowouts, the starters ALWAYS play the first series of the second half and the he subs.  When he hits 60, he takes a knee on the PAT. 
The complaint about Collier being in the game at that point...that was Bluefield's first possession of the second half...nothing out of the ordinary.  Had he not run it back, the starters would have been in until a) they score again, b) they turn it over, c) they punt.
No need to get your jellybeans in a jumble...

I thought both Graham and Bluefield did a good job staying disciplined on defense. Very few big plays tonight. Graham did a better job of tackling. Bluefield's play calling wasn't the greatest either. On one 3 and out the three plays were fullback dive, qb sneak on 2nd and long, and another fullback dive on 3rd and long.
I was kind of happy it wasn't a 60-55 shootout.

I saw the replay and it clearly looked like his knee was still off the ground. Great game. Officiating questionable but can't blame officiating on a goal line stand at the end of the game. Bluefield was the better team tonight when it mattered most. 
Also a great game plan by Bluefield. Kept Taymon out of the game.

Wow.  I watched the replay several times and I thought he fumbled with the knee 2" off the ground.  I heard from several that were watching online that agreed.

Wyoming East also kicked off to Bluefield after Bluefield had scored TDs...TWICE...

Wyoming East would also elect to kick off back to Bluefield after Bluefield would score a touchdown.  The stadium announcer said that it was legal. ..just surprised it was used.

From what I recall in the Wyoming East game, the coach at Wyoming East felt Bluefield was running up the score, and they did a couple of weird things in this game.  The punted early a couple of times on early downs giving the ball back to Bluefield.  They also had a fair catch on a kickoff in the game from their own 35 yard line.  The next play, they did a free kick which obviously had no chance and had people stunned and wondering why there would be a 82 yard field goal attempt who were unfamiliar with the rule.  Imagine the shock of the fans when the kick clearly fell short, and Bluefield took over possession at the Wyoming East 35.
 

Just discovered Graham had a football team in 1909. They didn't have any high school to play except Bluefield but can't find any game against Bluefield. They did play a church team from Bluefield on 11-20-1909 and tied 5-5.  Touchdowns were only worth 5 points in 1909.  The church team was called the Covenanters.
