What were the odds????

Just wondering how that made it safer for football. We are talking about 6 feet maximum. I have seen many football fields with less room on the sidelines than tazewell. At least it safe for the football team, but still not enough room for boys soccer I guess???

Why are the boys still playing at Lincolnshire? They dug up a couple lanes of the track so they could play soccer at Bulldog stadium. If I was a kid or parent of a track athlete I would be asking why. So now the soccer team still plays at good ole Lincolnshire and the track team just runs a little wider.

I agree with gman that a parent forfeits the kids right to play by the choice made to home school. Not saying it's wrong, it's your child, your decision, but if a kid misses public school they are not allowed to practice or play that day. Heck, if they don't attend 5 periods they are not eligible to play that day. So do we just trust all the home schoolers worked on 5 subjects that day or that the parent didn't have something else to take priority that day knowing they could catch up the work later. I'm sorry but if your not willing to follow the rules set for everyone else then you lose out!

It was only a few parents that wanted Moose removed. They started complaining and scheduling meeting after meeting with the administration and school board until they gave in to the pressure instead of taking a stand for the coach. They started their whining before their child entered high school and gained support from some other parents of upper clansman. Their mantra was better coach, better team, better opportunities for your child. And they drank the cool aid. Moose was removed and now we get to watch it unfold before our eyes. In a two week period tazewell took them to OT, they lost to twin valley, they lost to Lebanon, and Carroll could have named the score. Last year with Moose could have been their highest achievement and it would serve them right.

Richlands girls got beat by 20+ by Carroll. Carroll is the team to beat in boys and girls this year in the SWD. Richlands/Tazewell tomorrow night. Should be a good one!

That means for every new recruit they get next year they will have to get two kids to more away to make single A. I hope they stay in AA cause they are good enough to compete with anyone in the state almost every year.

Personal Trainer? Are you going to play footbball or are you going through a divorce/ if you don't know if your playing or not, DON'T! If takes heart and and will to want to be the best. You are all that you will ever be! pitiful!

Coach Tate is exactly what this community needs to turn the program around. Someone that will not be told who to play or what the rules are for different people. I bet there are a few parents in town that have figured out to keep their mouths shut, don't hang out at the fieldhouse, don't be nothing more than a supporter of the team, the coaches and the community. Its a hard lesson to learn but its NOT about YOU! Go Dawgs!

Its Rachel Alley, but she is only a junior. She was a hold back in 7th grade. I would say Jordon Cole and Crystal Blankenship on the Richlands team are All Stars. Cole has over 500 kills and Blankenship over a 1,000 digs for their careers.

There were some nice Abingdon folks at Cuz's Friday night. They got there about 8:00pm. I guess they didn't stay for the second half.
