frito gonzales 103 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 Thoughts on this game?? I haven't heard much about Grayson this year.
Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 Flip a coin, really. Almost all will depend on how physical Grayson is on the line. Teams that impose their wills tend to shut Graham down with authority (Richlands, Giles), while teams that don't tend to have serious fits with Graham (Tazewell, Abingdon). TazCoFootball 40 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 If Cousins is healthy Graham by 2 TDs Graham schedule up to now is the 2nd hardest behind gate city, so there 4 losses are to the best teams in swva and s wv BlueRazor
old_school 78 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 I wouldn't count out Grayson County in this one. They are physical and tough and their QB is hard to handle. This one could be a real game!
sixcat 2,919 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 Grayson's passing game this season may be the best I have witnessed in this area from any team. They throw it all over the yard, have excellent receivers and blocking and aren't afraid to stretch the field to lengths you don't often see at this level. Tyler Lundy is averaging 28 pass attempts per game and is completing 65% of those pass attempts for more than 200 yards per game. Graham better be able to get pressure on him while containing those receivers or this one could get away from them in a hurry.
EH31 2,518 Report Share Posted October 7, 2015 How big are Grayson's receivers? Graham's secondary probably only averages around 5'8" & 150 lbs. They're fast but richlands big wr's just overpoweeed them.

If Graham defense shows up like in the Bluefield game.... they win this one. Otherwise, it will be a high scoring affair and a tossup. Graham's speed will be too much for Grayson's D. Cousin, if healthy will cause some major problems for Grayson, after seeing Tazewell run well on them, but not finish their drives. I predict Cousin with 200 + yards, if healthy.... I have no doubt that Graham's offense will move the ball against Grayson, the question for me will be if Graham can stop the physical style of play of Grayson....could be a shootout. They connected on 3 or 4 sideline patterns, had one good crossing route that went for a td.. but the QB was running for his life most of the night, Graham's defense stepped up in a big way and looked tremendously improved. Graham had a player ejected. Anybody know the ruling on that, if he is allowed to play next week? Looked like a totally bogus ejection by the ref....the white hat had his undies in a bunch all night and was flag happy.... I think the rule is he doesn't play in the next game either...anybody know for sure? He is the heart of Graham's defense, hope he is not out. Graham will need him against Galax. Noles#12 20 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 My G-Men looked good tonight! But that was such a garbage call on throwing the kid out for clapping, I'm still trying to figure that one out...
sixcat 2,919 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 I should refrain from offering opinion on this game. These two teams play each other opposite of what I see each and every year. Maybe I will revisit this post next October for a gentle reminder.

rabidbeaver 90 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 I thought that Virginia refs were the best in the country or was it because it was played at Mitchell Stadium. GMan
