BoBob 223 Report Share Posted November 6, 2020 Well tonight would be the final game for lots of seniors and next week the playoffs would have begun. Sure hope they let our boys play. Are there still 36 states playing right now while VA kids sit by and wave goodbye to their season / senior seasons for some of them. Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted November 6, 2020 Hard to believe the regular season would have already come and gone. The weather’s been absolutely glorious this fall too. It would certainly beat that which we’ll see in February. Sad times. jarhead24219
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted November 7, 2020 WV begins playoffs next Friday, and as of now in AAA, 10 of the top 20 teams in the final poll will be shutdown due to Covid, including 4 of the top 8 teams. If they play the playoffs without those teams, 1) it will be a shame for those kids that made it and don't get to play, and 2) Princeton will make it further into the playoffs than ever before... Hokiebird7 1,416 Report Share Posted November 7, 2020 Oh well they wanted to play so this may be the end outcome...feel bad for players but it's what they wanted was to play. Maybe VA will fare better...but it's not looking great

Jags52 346 Report Share Posted November 10, 2020 Honestly I am very worried about the possibility of even having a season at this point. It is going to be very hard to tell the difference between COVID and the flu. I do not think schools will be up and running by February. I really hope basketball works out so we have a chance at this. There are too many good athletes in the area who are getting absolutely rob of the opportunity to play ball and if you take that away from them I fear that you will see graduation rates drop as well. This whole situation has sucked hopefully we get over it sooner rather than later.
