Galax has a "freight train" with Tucker.  He was the difference maker and the train to Salem went through him.    I think Union can relate to this with Clements last week.  But as we seemingly know,  one week's win doesn't always translate to a win the following week.

Congrats to the Tigers for a great season.

Congrats to the Galax MAROON TIDE as they travel to Salem.

Did Clements rush for 400 yards? Glenvar almost beat Radford, no way Radford could’ve won this game, right? Wasn’t the state championship played in BSG last week?

I’m kidding everyone, don’t shoot me. G-Men had a great season and should be proud. Clements is a special athlete that I will miss watching. Looking forward to seeing him on Saturdays in the near future.

They definitely contained him but he should’ve had way more touches.  Still not sure why Graham threw so much I was begging for them to throw last week

I really don't get the offensive scheme for Graham today.

It's been obvious all year that Radford's offense was explosive, but their D-Line was vulnerable to the power run.

Bobcats have speed everywhere. Even Graham wasn't going to out athlete them. This is why I thought Union would have had an excellent chance at beating them. Control the clock and run.

Graham was very successful last week with it, but let's spread the field and be cute with a team faster and more athletic than Union. Don't get it at all.

Maybe Turner and Palmer can only game plan against each other. Seems like they take turns

Congratulations to the Bobcats on their victory today! Next week will be interesting. I don't see RH abandoning the run and passing and Radford isn't going to start running. We'll see if the Bobcats can stop the power run a whole game if the Red Machine can stop such an athletic team.

I love to see it. Truthfully I’m surprised Honaker made it this far. Luck has been on their side the last 6 weeks. Galax, GW, and Grayson all would have beaten Honaker.

Personal opinion, a healthy Narrows beats them.

He had 27 carries through 3 quarters. Not sure if Jennings or Floyd ever touched the ball

Absolutely nuts to have those two kids on the team and not let them touch the ball in the biggest game of the year.

Which means Fort Chiswell would too. That’s 4 MED teams capable of being in Salem. Not bad for a district that most considered the weakest in Virginia 20 years ago.

The Fort that played in Narrows, wholeheartedly agree.  Their split personality that played in Pearisburg 7 days earlier, who knows.

And the potential for it to be that was always there.  Galax never could find a coach, Fort couldn't find consistency, Grayson was too focused on baseball.  Narrows and Giles were Narrows and Giles, and Floyd would take turns being strong.

Pocahontas was dragging them down

Except for that season, when Grayson was the largest A school in the state, started off strong as expected then lost the district to a split between Narrows with 18 players and Pocy.  Damn, them were some fun years.
