The RB for Union, Lomax is probably one of the more underrated RB's in the state of Virginia.  If there were such a list, he would likely be on that list.  He's not the best in Virginia by any means, but he is Div 1, and he crushes the mentality of defenses who often have him hit after 2 yards, and he gets 3 more giving Union a 2nd and 5 instead of a 2nd and 8 or 2nd and 9.  It happened with Graham multiple times in the game.  So many times, 3rd and short for Union and they get the first by a yard or two.  That's what Lomax does to defenses.  It demoralizes them.  Graham better button up the hatches and be disciplined.  If the undisciplined Graham shows up which is the one that loves to make a big hit in the secondary and not rap up, it will be a long day.  The big knock out hit where the opponents goes down hard even when the defender doesn't rap up will work against a Marion.  It won't work against Union.  You'll see the Running Back keep on running, if the GMen don't wrap up.  So far when I've seen Graham against Abingdon, Tazewell, and Richlands, the G-Men have looked good in tackling.

Crazy to think both schools might be arguing Not to play at home as the advantage rests on traveling.  LOL.  If it were true for Graham and Mitchell and no access or whatever, they have two other Tazewell County Schools.  Richlands is open on a Thursday night or Saturday as it hosts Abingdon.   Tazewell High, located closest to Graham is on the road at Battle, so Thursday, Friday, Saturday is open for Tazewell.  Tazewell would be the location of the game IF in fact, Graham truly did lose access to Mitchell.  Tazewell makes Unions trip 20-25 minutes shorter.  Richlands would make it 40-45 minutes shorter.

Im not sure of the solution but the total $#!+ show that this election was proves that some issues need to be addressed and there needs to be more uniformity from state to state. We can t find ourselves in this situation again in 2024. I dont personally believe that Trump was robbed of the election, but there were undoubtedly some fishy happenings and too many questions that had to be answered on the spot

Election day is a set date and polls are closed at a specific time.  All citizens are (apparently) empowered to vote prior to both of these established timelines.
Given these factors, all votes should be counted and reported immediately as they are cast.  And no votes shall be counted beyond the established timelines.
Seems like this would resolve a lot of problems.  Tell me what I'm missing.

Wow.  You know, based on this history of Union and what they have done to Richlands of recent, and not picking or even giving them consideration as being a top 4 team in the Region, I automatically deduct 30 IQ points from anyone making such a claim.  I'm beginning to wonder if you actually watch Region D football.   To actually make the statement as you did listed above may be the most asinine pick, or least the most asinine level of disrespect towards Union that I've read on the board this year.......and it's Dec 31st (that's a lot of year).
Fact is, based on their history, based on having the upper hand with Richlands of recent, based on beating Graham as recent as last year, there is no way in hades a reasonable human being that watches and half way understands Region D football would make such a statement that not only leaves Union out of the top 4 in Region, but states the other 4 are a clear notch above.

That would be a huge "get" for GC.  I'm not sure why he would walk away from Lynchburg to come to a program that struggles to get 25 players dressed on any given Friday night.  But given his recent past, maybe GC is where he rehabilitates his head coaching reputation.

BoBob, I sure do hope your coach (Doug Smith) is ok.  Lots of prayers been coming this way for that dude.  He's a special coach, but more important, a special person.  You guys, like any community would be, are very fortunate to have him.  Literally, the man is a game changer and a world changer for so many kids both on and off the field.

If Doug Smith is unable to coach at Appo, I think it's a monumental loss for them.  Appo's talent is incredible and I'm certain Smith's leadership has had the assistants more than prepared enough to take over (if Doug Smith is unable to coach), but it is still a huge loss in the area of x's and o's.  He sees stuff his fellow coaching peers don't see.  Tazewell is going to be really really good this year, and it wouldn't surprise me if the Dogs came out of the Region over Central, Graham, Richlands, Union, and Ridgeview.  In the East, Stuarts Draft will be a problem for anyone with what they supposedly return.

If the point that vtdavis is trying to make is along the lines that masks are not a guaranteed method of preventing the spread of viruses, my personal view is that makes a lot of sense.
If the view espoused by others is that masks are at least a better effort of mitigation than doing nothing, then my opinion is that is also pretty reasonable.
But there doesn't really appear to be much effort at all in this discussion to communicate or educate.  It's simply a matter of someone needing to be "right" and someone needing to be "wrong."  And personally I find that very disappointing.

False accusations my friend.  Again, UVA, you are wrong on this and you don't know what you are talking about, and you are now trying to make it personal.  Don't make it personal.  Be better than that.  Simplistic measures, as you say such as wearing masks absolutely DO NOT minimize the spread of the virus.  That is 100% wrong.  Period.  It's not factually wrong, it's insanely-crazy wrong.  I'm telling you dude, you are wrong on this.  Read the articles and guarantee me the following.  You are not an ideologue and if you are swayed by the evidence, you will admit it?  I'm telling you, with all due respect and I mean that.  You are wrong on this issue and the science.  The data overwhelmingly supports the fact that masks do not protect in a statistically significant way compared to a control group to prevent the Coronavirus, and as I told you, ANY Airborne Virus in the history of mankind.  Not just C-19. Literally, ANY Airborne Virus.  As far as being swayed, the overwhelming proportion of the medical and scientific community agree that masks don't work.  I don't know what world you live in.  It's literally as if you live on Mars or something, and scientifically baseless fraudulent claims as you accuse?  The data is there.  The only fraud in the mix is someone who has no clue of how to read a research paper, much less write one, have no clue of actually what the data says, then make a claim that masks work because he hears it on MSNBC.  That's fraud.

Chancellor Harris is nowhere close to the level of Adkins as a RB.  From balance to vision to strength, and again, vision and natural instinct to find the hole, Adkins is on a completely different level.  If he were on the same level, Harris would have had P5 offers just like Adkins, yet he doesn't; therefore, the recruiters feel Adkins is far and away a better RB.  That's not to say Harris isn't a stud because he is, but he's not an Adkins.  There's a difference.  I agree on Jordan.  He imo is equally as valuable as a High School Player as Adkins because of his prowess on both sides of the football.

An M7 team that doesn’t deserve it will make it, and a SWD team that deserves it will be left home.  In any other year, the Top 4 in the Region D Playoffs would be some combination of Central, Graham, Tazewell, and Richlands.  Those 4 are a clear notch above than the rest of the region.  However, I anticipate the region will take their Top 2 and cross-bracket them.

I think Central is a shoe-in out of M7.  For the 2nd slot, you could select either of Union and Ridgeview and make a case for them.  I think Ridgeview is better by a nose, but it’s debatable.

In the SWD, you can make a case for any of the Tazewell County schools.  Graham has talented skill players, but lost a massive amount of seniors, especially on the lines.  Tazewell on paper is the deepest and most experienced, but can they overcome the lopsided histories with Graham and Richlands?  Richlands has very strong lines but have taken a hit at skill positions with graduation.

Tickets are anywhere from 480 bucks to 1000 bucks for one ticket.  Average right now is 675 dollars for 1 ticket.  Now, is this insane or what?  Coastal Carolina is allowing 5,000 to be inside the stadium.   Last of all, the BYU football team is landing at 3 pm, and I got lucky.  The local stake center here in Myrtle Beach are feeding the team this evening and I get to go.  In LDS, a "ward" is a church, and a "stake" is basically a group of churches/region headquarters.  The "stake" will have a large center inside of it for meetings, dinners, etc.  Based on the short notice, local members were asked to help with the food and my wife volunteered as she loves to cook.  It's going to be a fun evening and weekend.
