Biggest surprise for me is Graham too. I went and watched them aganist Abingdon. I was really impressed. The biggest let down is Honaker. I really thought we would be a lot better than we are. It's really hard to watch how bad we are.

I feel so bad for this young man. I hate he doesn't get to remember his last play and that his career ended the way it did. Makes a person realize that losing your last ever game is nothing compared to what this young man went through Friday night.

That is an awesome statement, and shows what the game of football truly means to those of us that love it so much.
 
It also demonstrates its danger and unpredictable nature. My heart goes out to this young man, and I pray that his future doesn't hold any of the ill effects of these concussions.

I wish them both the best of luck and a speedy recovery. And glad to hear that it wasn't a neck or back injury. Hopefully it's not to serious with his knee.

Listening to Richlands is about the same way, they can get right homerish when they want too.

But its not 11 on 11. Its 22 on 22, except when a really small school plays a school twice their size its 22 v 11.  This years Hurley team could play with any school in SWVA other than Union or Richlands but wouldn't win many of those games. Numbers make a big difference.

Honaker had a lot of opportunities to put Grundy away.....Game could have went either way right down to the final play.

Not sure on the Hubbard thing. I think it is just out for the rest of that game and back the next but could be wrong. Some of the experts could help us out on that one.

I could have just as easily come on here and complained about the refs too. I thought they were horrible both ways.
 
We had sucess moving the ball running but couldn't hold on to it. I credit Grundys D on forcing those fumbles. 5 I think. Good luck with Hurley! They should be able to run all over Grundy. And us. Like I said before on another thread Hurley will be able to name the score on us.

Honaker has completely changed everything they do since the Lebanon and Castlewood games. I think this will be a close game. It will depend on Honaker being able to stop the duo of running backs. Or if Grundy can stop Honaker's QB. It might come down to Honaker's Jordan Stout making the difference.
