When I saw Abingdon at the Concord 7 on 7 they physically looked well put together reminded me of his old gate city teams, you guys are in good hands

I think it could go either way, I don't know who to pick. I just hate some get offended on this board if you ever pick against the Blues.

It just simply comes down to wins by opponents. When a team wins a game they get 2 rider points for each win that their defeated opponent has. I just checked Lord Botetourt's schedule( the team directly in front of Abingdon). They have 6 wins, Abingdon has 6 wins, but LB has 26 rider points from their 6 wins. Abindgon only has 18. Base points aren't as huge as rider points in the grand scheme. Take the example below...
 
 
Beating a 1A out of district team that is 9-1 would get Abingdon 16 base points, 18 rider points, and 2 classification points for a total of 36 points.
Beating a 6A out of district team that is 0-10 would get Abingdon 26 base points, 0 rider points, and 0 classification points for a total of 26 points, or 10 LESS points than the 1A team.
 
The best way to get power points is to beat teams with winning records. Thus far, Abingdon's schedule has consisted of 4-1 win teams, 1 - 2 win team, and 1 - 3 win team. None have a winning record.

I've stayed out of the spot light because I didn't want to take away for the complete domination of my Falcons.  I've been busy spreading my business around with all my ladies and haven't had time to entertain you bruisers on here.  Speaking of bruising, hows those bruises holding up Gate City after we embarrassed you?  Haha  I bring up Gate City because there's some talk that you want Randy Reid to come bail you out of the mess you're in right now.  Didn't you know that poaching was illegal?  Don't come cry the blues after you passed him up and didn't see the potential that ABINGDON FALCONS did!  Do you know what we do to Falcon poachers? . . . . . We take them behind the wood shed for old fashioned arse whipping!  My advice, leave Randy ALONE!  Next topic,  can this board get anymore politically correct?  I mean its good luck guys, don't get mad if we win, wheres a good place to eat, hope to play hard . . . . . . whatever happened to, "Hey, the Falcons are coming and we're going run through your town like Sherman did Atlanta?" You heard me right!  The Falcons are Coming!  "Fear the Beak!"  That's whats happening to our society.  No one tells em like it is and the next thing you know Iran has a nuclear deal.  While others sit quietly and watch the cars go by.  Well, I'm not going sit around and watch Gate City poach our Falcon!! No Sir, that won't happen on Falconman's watch.  I'll leave you with these two thoughts:  No to Iran Nukes;  No to Falcon Poaching!!!!

Richlands and Union will not end up 1/2 or 2/1. Appomattox isn't losing baring some crazy upset. They will go 10-0 and be the 1 seed. I think Union goes 10-0 and is 2. Richlands at this point is just hoping for top 4 so we can have 2 home games.

Facts that I know and you can take them anyway you please.
1.  Last year had a coaching issue that hit right before the Chilhowie game.  Anybody that was there for all the games saw a change in the play calling and offensive style.
2.  There were some internal issues in the locker room last year with a few players.  Those are gone now.
3.  This team has the ability to continue to build with the new assistant coaches that came in and filled the gaps that we had in the coaching staff.
4.  With the exception of a couple of teams, this is a very tough schedule.  Grayson and RR both are tough from what I understand.
5.  Allen is a great coach however his personal skills lack at times.  Just have to play through and do their best.
 
All I can say is I'm excited either way and can't wait for the season to begin
